…and How to get it (Part 5)

What a lot of people do to solve a mystery is ask, why?

For me, this is an inappropriate strategy because “taking anything on faith,” again, FOR ME, requires getting into a “zone” where I suspend conscious thinking and judgment.

The question “why” is a triggering mechanism for getting the conscious part of my mind to take over.

I don’t have to dig very deeply to realize that the conscious part of my mind is the seat of skepticism and judgment and these, while being necessary tools to navigate through rational problem solving of living in this human vehicle – and just as one simple example, to evaluate advertising claims, particularly as they relate to me personally; skepticism and judgment are the antithesis to results-getting faith.

For me, The Faith of Enoch (hereafter TFE), is the ultimate leap into the unknown, but if I’m to be honest with myself I have to also acknowledge that there are certain facets of TFE that require a basis in cognitive thought and reason.

I believe in some basics, none of which I can prove for anyone else, but since I, a “chief of sinners,” received revelation that works for me, I also believe you can receive revelation that works for you:

I believe that God exists as an infinite, creative LOVE-force that goes way beyond my finite ability to understand or articulate in either religious or non-religious terms.

I believe that he rewards my blind search for finding his desires and purposes for the better good of my life – and in every aspect of it. One of those obvious rewards for me is revelation as to what is truth for me (and is not necessarily truth for anyone else, period).

I believe I often miss God (which is the essence of the word translated into English as “sin”). I also believe in the ancient text, “If we confess that we have missed him, he is BOTH faithful and just to forgive us AND cleanse us from all ‘unrighteousness’ – but if we deny that we ‘sin’ – the truth is not in us.”
