SOVEREIGN AUTHORITY – Part Two
It’s Yours, Stop Giving It Up
I’m sure you recall what I was shown and shared the last time out and the overwhelming enthusi-asm (the power of the SOURCE within having expression outwardly – the “asm” part, don’t forget, akin to org-asm in that it creates physically what we think of as “new” LIFE) that poured out through me:
Here’s what I am instructed to say to you, no matter how you slice it: the authority of a sovereign state resides within you, by, how and with which, you can determine your own future. Whoa!!! The authority of a sovereign state!!??
…You mean as that of a nation? …and I’m just as sure that you also recall the utter mind-boggling response from our SPIRIT-PARENT:
“Yes, now you begin to see what this authority you’ve been preaching and writing about is, and the reason for the healing and deliverance power that is contained in it.”
Flashing before me is what I said about being clueless other than the above title and that is, that this sovereign authority is and was ours from the beginning, but we have been (and, in some cases, still are) being hoodwinked into giving it up!
Here we go with a short, but necessary digression. Do you recall the e-mail from Donna, about her daughter Sherrill, just a few days back, which I included in the article with Jesus’ words, “Those Who Say they Know Me,” as the title?
Sherrill, you remember, had been pronounced “dead” …well, had been diagnosed by the medical experts as having a disease which would bring about certain death – terminal.
When you don’t know you have an enemy because you’ve been lied to (and Jesus referred to this enemy as the “father of lies”), you go to doctors who can only diagnose by some medical term on the basis of what they see physically, whether by microscope or by some other visual enhancing means and pronounce death – or be amazed at somebody like Sherrill who lives – and the same doctor pronounces the disease as being “in remission” (and, therefore, almost surely, is the implication, that the disease is destined to return).
Some people have commented that they didn’t get Donna’s point – or mine for including it.
Well, here is my point: Sherrill went from certain death to even more certain LIFE by recognizing that every little symptom that came along, after the diagnosis, was being delivered to her by the enemy, whose purpose, Jesus said, not I, it is to steal our faith and kill our bodies.
The good news is that Sherrill understood who was trying to steal life from her and dealt with it – disease GONE!
Some people get the idea, from the remarks above, that I am “anti-doctor” which remarks are a mere echo of the things I say continually. Not true …what I am against is people being overly dependent upon any expert about anything; in fact as an introduction to Donna of the book I wrote, Leapfrog, I told her about the two physicians, both with M.D. designations, earned at the med schools of prominent universities in the U.S.
One of these doctors, a woman, also had the letters N.D. after her name as well as being certified a “Diplomate of Oriental Medicine” from NACCOM (look it up if you’re wondering) after studying Chinese Herbal medicine and acupuncture extensively in both China and the U.S.
Both of these physicians had practices in Kampala, the capital of Uganda, in northeast-central Africa – both invited yours truly to meet at their separate clinics to deal with patients whose problems were beyond the most advanced physical and psychological diagnostic tests available.
The male of the two – a guy in his late fifties, told me he had been led by our SPIRIT-PARENT, from his birthplace in Indianapolis, Indiana …first to Nairobi, Kenya, where he practiced for 15 years and then to Kampala where he had been practicing for an additional ten years.
He also referred to his female counterpart as, “One of the greatest diagnosticians on the planet” …he told me this the day he called me to ask if I would help her because, when she had told him that she was convinced that one of her patients’ problems was caused by ‘spiritual entities.’ This after all the blood work and other diagnostic tests had come back negative; he had told her that I was “her man” as he had seen amazing results.
She did call me and the results were immediate and dramatic. Not only was the first patient, a fifteen year old girl, dramatically and immediately healed, but so was the doctor during the same session! If you want the whole story, go up to the spiritualhealingsource.com website – and on the menu bar at the top click on the tab “About Us” and scroll down ‘til you get to more about “Brad Cullen” …the story is in there somewhere.
I don’t say this, as I oft repeat, for any self-aggrandizement, BECAUSE THE POINT IS THAT THIS SAME AUTHORITY IS AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE. I didn’t say that, Jesus said it and is saying it, NOW, today!
How, then, are you giving up YOUR sovereign authority …or are you? There are two streams coming to me and I’m being directed to say that BOTH need to be recognized at some point.
Donna’s daughter Sherrill reclaimed her authority by understanding she had an enemy, then acknowledging who her enemy was and dealing with “him” authoritatively. That’s one stream and certainly the same stream that both the two, above referenced, medical experts also acknowledged, that is, the existence of the same enemy.
Some people prefer I would never mention an “enemy” – I understand the perspective. The topic is not popular and I also understand another perspective – denial that such things exist. The only challenge I see to that particular way of dealing with it, that is, denial is, if it is killing you and for all your denying that the enemy doesn’t exist, that doesn’t cure the problem …and the doctors to whom you are going are pronouncing the problem terminal – where else do you go?
Ah yes, there is Hospice which certainly helps you get out of denial and accept death “gracefully.” Sherrill and her mom preferred that she LIVE – I’m thinking now of a famous quote: “God is a God of the living, NOT of the dead.” Am I against Hospice? Nope, there’s a time and a place – I’m just, per usual, railing against over-dependence when there may be an alternative way, of which, if the patient were aware, the patient might select.
So, in all the foregoing, we can get a glimpse of two ways that we give up our sovereign authority …and by the way, if you follow the rabbit trails of definitions of the term “sovereign authority” you’ll find that one of the prominent definitions is the power to make decrees, the power to pass laws. Sherrill made a decree. “I know who you are and you are going to stop stealing life from me.”
I’ve often been asked, after a person who has been diagnosed with a terminal disease, and been “miraculously” healed, as a result of getting rid of an enemy-agent who caused it, if such things always cause a particular disease?
My stock answer is “no, I’m not saying that at all, but I do say that every time I command one of them to get out (or far more often, instruct the individual to take authority and do the commanding) not only does the “entity” depart, but so does the disease.”
I feel a story coming on! The medical director of a psychiatric hospital, himself a psychiatrist, began hosting weekend “healing sessions” at the resort he owned. For several years he had been inviting me to deal with certain of his patients after asking them if they were willing to talk to this “kook friend of his who believes that certain mental and emotional conditions are caused by demons?”
He had seen enough “miraculous” cures with long-term patients to believe that they could be “cured” by getting rid of that particular cause when he came to the conclusion that, indeed, spirit-agents (by whatever other name) were the cause and it should be noted that we never had a patient of his that was not cured – always by the same mode – getting rid of the cause!
This is important and it is the same dynamic that existed with the two doctors in Africa – the patient had given over their authority to the doctors – in that case, in Uganda, it was giving their authority over to two doctors who got somebody involved who understood his authority and the authority of the patient.
In these cases, without exception, the patient was always instantly cured! The point is that these physicians were giving up their medical authority because they believed in a HIGHER authority. After much prodding and discussion, both doctors eventually understood that they didn’t need me …they had access to the very same authority and were no longer hesitant to use it.
Back to my friend, the psychiatrist, who also had an “M.D.” at the end of his name and one of the weekend healing sessions …a woman had been brought who was dying of lung cancer; she could barely sit up, gasping noisily for every breath – weighed perhaps 80 lbs.
The reason she and her husband were there is that they had been amazed by the “healing” of their neighbor, a woman who was already being visited daily by hospice, who had taken over the chores of daily bathing and helping the family come to grips with and to accept her impending death. Her doctors said that there was nothing left to do.
She, too, was in her sixties, had a brain tumor, totally blind, had lost all her hair from the effects of chemotherapy and had not been able to walk for six months. Seeing her walk around the neighborhood, with her vision totally restored, and had shocked this neighbor couple into asking her what happened and their thinking that there might be hope. She and her husband invited them and accompanied them to the sessions.
We’re sitting there on Saturday, after re-convening, the doctor noticeably impatient because I haven’t done anything and impatient with this gasping woman who could talk only of not being willing to take a trip with her husband to their winter home in Yuma, Arizona, because she was afraid of being so far away from her doctors.
He finally said to her: “Let me get this straight …your doctors have told you that there is no cure, they’ve stopped chemo and told you that you are going to die, am I right?”
This brought about a gasping “yes” from her and a nod in agreement from her husband.
“Okay, you know that I am a doctor, correct?” …agreed to, again, by both the woman and her husband.
“I’ve had enough of this,” says the doctor, looking at me with obvious exasperation that I hadn’t done anything yet, because he had always waited for me to “do something.”
“In the name of Jesus Christ, get up and walk, you’re healed!” This he practically yelled, pointing at her, “C’mon, don’t just sit there,” he commanded with total SOVEREIGN AUTHORITY, “get up and start walking around.”
The woman’s story became far more exciting than her immediate healing, but that will take us away from the point. She needed to understand how she had been giving up her sovereign authority and what giving it up had allowed. Her further story, of taking control over her LIFE, as was Sherrill’s story, is a marvelous example.
What now?
…………
Ah-ha! I’m supposed to pose this question: “Just because I go to the doctor, does that mean I’m giving up my sovereign authority?”
If that is your question then the answer for me may well not be appropriate for you – let’s get into it more next time …in: SOVEREIGN AUTHORITY – Part Three.
