“Religion is all bunk” or “This world is ruled by infinite intelligence”, Where Would You Like to Start?

Quantum Mechanics, Newtonian Physics …and Spiritual Healing      – Volume 5

Since you made the choice, why do you want to blame God for the outcome? In order to come to the conclusion that this life we are experiencing, right now, is NOT a game of chance, but somebody has to take some responsibility for outcomes. In other words, you really did create this mess and if you will take the responsibility for it, you can clean the mess up efficiently and joyfully …ready?

I had the privilege in my early teens to read the biography of Thomas Alva Edison, acknowledged as the most prolific inventor of marketable, technologically advanced items for his time in history.

Edison was the man for the job, lighting up the world.

Edison was the man for the job, lighting up the world.

Edison’s biography had an impact on me because as a young boy his volatile father punished him by “boxing” his ears… which was the cause of Edison’s pronounced deafness in later years. In these days of blaming any number of adult failures upon “being abused as a child,” Edison overcame bunches of it on the way to fame, fortune and success, as measured by the world.

Edison was also famous for many things he was quoted as having said …one of which stands out to me, went something like, “success is 95% perspiration and 5% inspiration” …the numbers may be a little off, but you get the idea. Another quote was related to his work developing the incandescent light bulb …something to the extent that thousands of experiments that had not as yet worked were not failures, but merely thousands of ways he now knew didn’t work (which would lead to ultimate success).

Let’s look at what he said about the spiritual side of things: “Religion is all bunk” is one quote and, at the other end of the spectrum, “I know this world is ruled by infinite intelligence. Everything that surrounds us – everything that exists – proves that there are infinite laws behind it. There can be no denying this fact. It is mathematical in its precision.”

Segue to “spiritual” and “religion” not being of the same mettle. Here is an acknowledged genius saying that religion is all bunk and at the same time acknowledging that an “infinite intelligence” is the ruler of the physical realm. It is here I want to draw a distinction I have made before, based on something Jesus stated rather emphatically and which quantum mechanics confirms (at least it appears to be a distinct possibility in my mind):

Jesus pointed to two “fathers” one of which He said was SPIRIT to be sought after in Spirit and Truth …the other the father of lies, but “spirit” as well. The latter, according to Jesus, is the “god” of the physical realm and, therefore, could we not construe as being the same “infinite intelligence” to which Edison was referring?

But wait a minute, how could a genius, but nonetheless finite mind, Edison, construe that this planet and by extension the entire physical universe be governed by something “infinite,” herein defined as “without limits.”(?) Can we see the possibility that the “laws of nature” are finite and therefore have strict rules within which all things physical exist? Do the same laws govern the realm of SPIRIT? Can we change our perception to at least say, perhaps not?

Limited Thinking.

Wait again …have I locked myself into some limited thinking here? What if, as some scientists are beginning to suggest, the human brain (genius or no) is automatically connected to this “infinite intelligence?” Again, waiting for a bit of wisdom to formulate by not getting hung up on any one perspective, let us begin to see something about “spiritual” as opposed to “religion.”

If, as referenced somewhere in all the foregoing, Jesus really did introduce the concept of an existence of two “Gods” – one more accurately translated as the Archangel of the physical realm and the other the SOURCE of everything… can we begin to look at the possibility that the “god” of religion and the “god” of Edison are not separate, but the same “infinite intelligence,” but not the ultimate SOURCE?

We know that quantum mechanics (the branch of physics that studies subatomic, submicroscopic particles) has proven, via scientific experiments, that the mathematics of the astrophysical realm simply doesn’t compute at the quantum level. Also theorems which are basic to physics such as gravity don’t compute in the same way at the quantum level as they do at the astrophysical level either …a case where two plus two really does equal something other than four.

This realization forced out of me the thought that perhaps some parts of quantum mechanics might well be what I have thought of previously as “spiritual” …or at least I had to ask the question are some of the quirky particles discovered at the quantum level possibly what I have coined “spirit-agents?

To stay on point, it would seem that some religious folks and some scientific folks are stuck in the same thinking rut. That is, that the SOURCE of everything (by whatever other title or name) rules over everything. Again, if we are going to pay attention to what Jesus said (actually Mohammed basically said the same thing) then, the “god of this world” and “infinite intelligence” are merely descriptions of the same thing, but this entity is not the infinite “God” or SOURCE of everything at all.

The following quote from an article synthesizing the views of two quantum physicists may provide a bridge in our thought processes to be a bit more inclusive in our perspectives and perceptions:

“This striking new picture of reality, the synthesis of Bohm and Pribram’s views” [the two quantum physicists to which I’m making reference] “has come to be called the holographic paradigm, and although many scientists have greeted it with skepticism, it has galvanized others. A small but growing group of researchers believe it may be the most accurate model of reality science has arrived at thus far” (emphasis mine). “More than that, some believe it may solve some mysteries that have never before been explainable by science and even establish the paranormal as a part of nature. Numerous researchers, including Bohm and Pribram, have noted that many para-psychological phenomena become much more understandable in terms of the holographic paradigm.”

Are you ready for this? Help me Obi Wan!

Now, dear brothers and sisters, add to “para-psychological phenomena” or “para-normal” (the latter being the genre’ my book Leapfrog as it has been dubbed by some), the term “spiritual” as I am using the term …by which I am meaning “what is beyond physical explanation and physical measurement.

I’m really not touting Leapfrog here, yet it brings to bear the same thing exposed in the above quote of the article about the findings of Bohm and Pribram. In Leapfrog I took several instances of things I (and many others) had actually and literally experienced and witnessed and set them into fiction-form to make the events more intellectually palatable to those who could not accept them as fact.

In Leapfrog I touched on many things discussed obliquely in the Bible that were confirmed not only in my life but in the experiences of others, such as instant transport both “out of body” and “in body,” in other words being in two different places at the same time, just as one of several examples …a “spiritual/scientific” examination of the inexplicable metamorphosis process of caterpillar to butterfly as another example.

The cutting edge of the branch of science referred to as quantum mechanics has much to offer us spiritually provided we don’t lock ourselves into the limited perceptions of the scientists making the discoveries, or the even more limited perceptions of religionists who try to fit the discoveries in quantum mechanics into their finite doctrines. It is here I want to say, “WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE!” (damn it!!!)

What is the wakeup call I am urging? Go directly to our SPIRIT-PARENT and ask if any of this is true for you and, if so, how to apply these truths to new and exciting experiences that open the door to healing power and spiritual healing and the extreme faith that is available once you embrace the words of Jesus that “nothing is impossible for anyone who believes enough.”

If you are having difficulty hearing directly from SPIRIT-PARENT SOURCE, whom Ryan and I refer to as Dad, send us an e-mail, perhaps we’ll have a suggestion that can help you with specifics.
