Does the SOURCE of Everything Care What You Believe?
The answer to this question will set you free totally. I’ll never forget the title on a book I saw once (probably fifty years ago) which had a huge impact on me …Know What You Believe …I thought it was ludicrous then …I think it even sillier now.
I am sure that if you have spent much time reading my stuff that you probably think some of my thought processes are silly also, but there is a difference in concept. How on earth can you not know what you believe? (I’m aware, of course, that we all carry around subconscious beliefs, but I don’t think this is what the guy was writing about).
Since “Know What You Believe” suggests quite strongly that you don’t know what you believe, it drives me to ask …how that can be …well, the title implies (to me) that the author is trying to indoctrinate readers with what he believes.
Yes, I realize that Ryan and I postulate some fairly wild beliefs on this website, such as one I have repeated several times …the latest being in the recent article, “You Cannot Have Faith and Probably Don’t,” …and here it is, lifted directly from the article:
If, as some believe (and I am among them), that not only did Jesus say anyone who believed enough would do what he did, in the seeming supernatural arena, but something far more startling which is that we would be transformed into being who he was as a man.
The foregoing paragraph was preceded by this one:
Jesus didn’t just say that anyone who believed enough will do the same things (and, again, greater things than) he did, but he also gave very clear instructions about how to get to the point of believing enough.
What is intriguing about this (to me at least) is that the referenced article, You Cannot Have Faith and Probably Don’t, is intended to be a preparatory bridge to an article that deals with a highly sensitive issue, for many people; and for all sorts of reasons. While Ryan, in the audio recording of our phone conversation about the article (podcast #26), boils the primary reason, as to why it is such a sensitive issue for many, down to fear and judgmentalness, …and in that same conversation, I boil down as to the primary cause of both having fear and being judgmental to something else …we’re missing the point, that is, the key issue.
So …What is the point? What many of us want out of life …wealth, health, a sense of purpose, happiness and those things we tend to believe contribute to each in the foregoing list.
Because of the work we do on this website, we are directed by others to look at all sorts of methods, which work, to accomplish the things on the list …but what if “these things” miss the point and, again, what is the point?
That all these things, again, wealth, health (don’t forget that, included in the title of our website is the term, spiritual healing), a sense of purpose, happiness and whatever else you believe contributes to any of these – all these things, according to Jesus, will come to you automatically, once you “put the kingdom of God as your number one priority.”
Both Ryan and I have steadfastly said in podcasts and the articles to which they relate …that there are myriad ways to achieve healing other than spiritually and that they all work for some people. We are not in competition with any other method or system. Our purpose, our only purpose, on this website is to be a beacon of light for one single issue: Helping people return to their one and only perfect SPIRIT-PARENT this moment, NOW (period).
How do you do that? Again, according to Jesus, you beat on your SPIRIT-PARENT’s door, just the way you would a close friend… you knock and demand impudently and persistently, that is, without any sense of respect or awe, that you be given what you need …that is, the TRUTH about you having a close personal relationship with Her/Him – and you keep knocking and demanding UNTIL you get it.
Millions upon millions of people follow all kinds of religious belief systems …Jesus did not say you couldn’t knock until you believed a certain way. Can a Muslim knock on the door? Can a homosexual knock on the door? Why single out these two groups? Because both have a tendency to be judged as unworthy to take part in organized Christianity …in spite of Jesus clearly declaring NOT to judge or be in danger of being judged. Here is the promised answer that will set you free –guaranteed! Go now, right now, and start knocking. Ignore any other voice …we are not urging you to change your orientation or belief about anything.
So, once again, the point is the SOURCE (by whatever other title or name – hey, why not use the apparent acronym BWOTON (By Whatever Other Title Or Name …as in “may BWOTON be with you?) -you can still hang on to “God” if you prefer- is ready for you if you are ready and willing to knock and demand …then get BWOTON to give you the perfect belief system for YOU; and we’ll be careful to excitedly listen to you share what that is, no matter what religion or sexual orientation you still claim to believe in… it doesn’t matter to Ryan or me – we’ve learned the hard way not to judge, just go to your Daddy/Mommy (that’s the kingdom of God) and share your experience(s) with us.
Write: ryan@spiritualhealingsource.com or brad@spiritualhealingsource.com or please make a comment on the website. May BWOTON be with you!
Oh yeah, to answer the title question, we believe (doesn’t make it true) that BWOTON doesn’t give a dang what you believe – just go to Daddy/Mommy at the residence (the kingdom) and get the answer that uniquely fits YOU!
In Freedom,
Brad
