I AM the Change . . .

I Am the light...switch.

I Am the light…switch.

With just the flick of my finger, accompanied by the most sonorous tone I could muster, saying: “Let there be light and there was light” – and damned if there wasn’t light immediately – corresponding to the exact timing of my finger-flicking (on the light switch).

While I’m obviously doing a light version, pun intended, of the series of God created stuff, cited in the Bible following “in the Beginning,” I AM not being intentionally sacrilegious, all though I do recognize the potential for it to be taken that way.

Even as I AM seeing as true, what my publisher chides me about which are the objections to much of what I write that are all running around amok in and through my mind, “which aren’t real objections,” he has pointed out more than once, wisely; and just recently, admonishing me related to some article I had written with a bunch of unnecessary apologetics I had created to take issue with all the imagined objections.

I could and do say that the objections are, more often than not, quite real and I AM “picking them up from the ether” and yet, one way of looking at what he says is that I AM giving life to them, instead of simply stating whatever it is that I AM in me is saying.

How many times have I already said it? How many more must I?

How many times have I already said it? How many more must I?

He is correct and I AM knows better, so why do I continue to do it? The simple answer to that question, without apology, is an overactive conscious part of the mind, insisting upon having its own way, even though I AM, in both Ryan and me says, “Knock it off.”

One point that could be made about what I have transcribed so far, is that I was and I AM in the beginning as a particle of I AM and have been given the power and authority to say before there was ever a “me” – I AM. What I AM in me is also saying is so are you.

We don’t have to recreate light or anything else, it is already done and it is high time we moved on to correct that thing which I AM in US has revealed needs to be corrected.

Now I begin to understand Mohandas Gandhi’s, “We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him; this is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do.”

What you see is what you get.

What you see is what you get.

That quote is much longer than the one on posters attributed to my friend which says, “Be the change you want to see in the world,” but doesn’t give a clue as to how. In the longer “correct” version I see the way out of the muck I have unwittingly created.

The first thing I need to straighten out in me is the proclivity to allow the conscious, thinking part of the mind of this body I occupy to control what I do and say, when the I AM, Creator of the universe, lives within and is willing to take over …in other words there are no excuses for not making the necessary changes in me now and saying I’m just a human is one of the first (excuses) in me that is going.
