What Jesus Is Teaching (Me) Today – 13
Don’t Like the Title? Write Your Own (…now then)
Come on Brad...give a hoot!
Some people don’t like the title of this soon-to-be-a-book series …and more than that, some people are troubled by “my ten advisers.” It’s not that I don’t give a _____ (add your own word here) because I do care, but here’s what Moo had to say to me this morning about the primary title:
“One of the things that many people who think they are following the religion I started, and yes, in my appearance on the physical plane, I will take personal credit (or blame, for those who think that more appropriate) for transcribing the Qur’an [or Koran -ed.] and, yes, I did start the religion, but I refuse to take the blame for some of the nonsensical stuff that goes on today in formal Islam and I make no apology for my lack of taking responsibility for that or my comments here about it, but as I started to say, one of the things many Muslims got correctly was to respect what Jay had to say in his expression in human form.
“From his own mouth today, you are continuing to hear truth that is consistent with what he said back then, even though it is inconsistent with the beliefs of many who say that “they follow Jesus” …when what they are following is their own interpretation of his words reported by those who knew him back then.
“What we are all urging upon you is that you pay attention to what we are saying today – because just as you are saying what you are hearing from our SPIRIT-PARENT so are we, in the now. For all those who don’t like the title and don’t like us in the form you are presenting, let them write their own and say whatever they want to say and put whatever title they want to put on it.
It's OK Brad you can lighten up. Nobody is attacking you.
“What do you say, Jay, am I being too harsh or argumentative here?”
“The point that I would make,” Jay answered, “is simply for Brad to not get hung up in the need to defend what he is writing, it needs no defense. For some, particularly those entrenched in any religious belief system, whether religious or scientific, further explanation, may be helpful. For those who refuse to keep an open mind, ‘casting pearls before swine’ may be a saying that is good to remember.”
“Especially when, I remember,” Yogi said, “my own breakthrough came as a result of my becoming acutely aware of my being my own swine.”
Baba responded, with a laugh, “That’s exactly why it is so amusing to see people cling to things I wrote, when so often I didn’t get the full impact of what I was getting at the time because it was so foreign to my own thinking and beliefs and which is the reason we can’t be too hard on those who insist on blaming any of us for the inane ways they interpret our words of the past. But I do wish they’d listen now and not necessarily to Brad’s portrayal of who we are and what we are saying, but rather, directly to whatever our SPIRIT-PARENT may be saying to them in the now which may seem wholly different on how they interpret what we’re saying here and now.”
Listening through the filter of your beliefs won't help you get the message.
Jay held his hand up and said: “I want you to write the following to finish this chapter and then put it in quotes and make it the Introduction when you format it in book form.”

While I occasionally cite various scientific “evidence” as it is discovered, or better said, I become aware of it, to poke holes in extant religious/scientific theory about anything – it is in an effort to get people to break out of their insistence that things can only work in the way they tend to believe …rather than to promote any alternative theory or belief system of my own.
Science has a tendency to be its own most volatile critic by coming up with new discoveries that force the replacement of well-established “scientific fact” that has been proven to be simply untrue.
It is laughable to me, that institutions of higher learning can continue “educating” along the lines of information that have been proven to be patently false …sometimes for years after what they are teaching as truth is no longer accepted by the world in general and science in particular.
Get a broader view. That's why your here right?
When I discovered that my passion and purposes were to help people see things from a wider perspective and to promote the acceptance of spiritual power for emotional and physical healing, I began getting revelation that simply rubbed some people the wrong way.
This series – soon to be book – has reached into some territory that upsets some prevalent thought held onto religiously, even if the topic is scientific rather than religion.
I claim to get information from a group of ten spiritual advisors …ten historical figures. I have admitted that the group started in my imagination, garnered initially by asking our (your and my) SPIRIT-PARENT who I contend is the Creative Force or Spirit part of the Elohiym which “spoke” everything into existence and became the man history refers to as Jesus – or, as some of those who comment about what I write, insist upon referring to in a derivative of Hebraic origin, Y’shua or Yeshua.
Are you?
In an appearance to me, Jesus gave me permission to call him Jay and told me that it didn’t matter what I believed about him; that what he cared about was that I pay attention to what he is saying, NOW, today.
Again, admittedly, this follows my own belief system based on my stumbling onto a passage in the New Testament of the Christian Bible, which says: “Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.”
As that passage grew and grew in importance as a cornerstone of my own personal belief system – some other thoughts that I had picked up from reported quotes of Jesus, began to play a significant role in how I viewed organized Christianity and my own involvement in it as a “shadow of reality.”
Particularly the statements purported to have been made by Jesus, according to the writers of the Gospels, that what Jesus both did and said, were not “him” saying and doing them, but were the words and works of our SPIRIT-PARENT. Further, that any individual who believed enough would say and do the very same things – empowered by the same SPIRIT-PARENT guiding each individual from within.
How many advisers do you have and don't know it?
The two themes mentioned in the immediately foregoing paragraph form my personal reality …what has been amazing to me is that these ten “advisers” I refer to variously as the Board of Directors of My Life and My Mastermind Group, have taken on a life of their own; which could give rise (and indeed has) to the suggestion that they are “spirits” …in a less than favorable definition of that term –or that my imagination has taken off into an area of mental instability.
The religious leaders of Jesus’ day refused to believe what he said about a variety of things, but one thing they said is a parallel to some of the comments that I am receiving. They said he was crazy or that he was controlled by an evil spirit.
What Jesus said in response is rather interesting, to say the least: “Those who say that what is inspired by our SPIRIT-PARENT is from an evil spirit will never receive forgiveness for making such a remark.”
This has nothing to do with ultimate forgiveness, but Jay tells me is simply a statement of spiritual truth related to careless thoughts and remarks and the continuing impact of self-judging that comes about in those indulging in such.
Careless thoughts and words have an effect.
Honest seekers of truth will find it, those who refuse to question religious doctrines and refuse to ask the SOURCE and listen for HER/HIS/ITS truth in the NOW, will continue on in blindness, leading others to do the same.
Jay insists that this isn’t some sort of blanket condemnation against those who have chosen to remain blind for now, but rather an encouragement to keep seeking, knocking and demanding the truth that works for each individual UNTIL the truth is obtained – that’s the promise and it will be kept if you meet the qualifications – which, again, are only that you keep knocking, seeking and demanding to get the truth for YOU, UNTIL you receive it …which may be different from what anyone else gets for them.
Jay is reminding us not to judge what anyone else gets …just to keep going directly to our SPIRIT-PARENT until we have the truth and it has made us free.
