Integration of the Mind – Part Forty-One

-Excuse Me, But Where Is The Answer?-

Dear Brad, I really was blown away by #40, but I’m thinking Ryan Bruce may be correct in his assessment that you have ‘writer’s ADD’ …or was that one of your tricks to get people to actually take the time to pay attention to what you are saying? Well excuse me, but where is the answer to your captioned question: Once A Conflict Is Suspected, What Now? [In #40] — I combed through the piece carefully, not once, but twice.”  Ed L.

My response: You may be right about my lapses in attention, Ed, but the answer was in the question. In other words, what I was proposing was, once people open their minds to the concept of an externally caused conflict and are willing to accept some negative spiritual vibration or another as a possibility …to THEN ask our SPIRIT-PARENT, “what now?” What I was, obviously lamely, trying to point out is that careful, cognitive reasoning will take us to more conflicting theories including those which are often called medical diagnoses …talk about all in the mind!!!

What track?

Let’s allow a bit of organization to seep in here, shall we? Where I am willing to admit that I really got off track, in the previous segment (#40) was  right after I laid out the four things that I planned to cover:

  1. Visualization and/or imagination as a means of creating “virtual reality.”
  2. Complete integration of all parts of the personal, human mind, both conscious and unconscious.
  3. How I go about putting my mind under the complete control of our (your and my) SPIRIT-PARENT by whatever other title or name and
  4. Carrying over from (#39) related to CONFLICT and what Jim discovered and did to get rid of it – far simpler than what you may be thinking.

Thanks Brad, I appreciate the appeasement.

Let’s start with 4) first and then take them 1-2-3 only because the publisher has been grumbling (not alone, obviously, as the comments of Ed L., above, indicate (and others have chimed in), Ryan’s griping centers around the fact that I never finished the story about Jim …so here goes, just to appease the publisher:

While there was no doubt in my mind that the conflict in Jim’s wife was perpetuated by pesky enemy agents, (that is a point of view shared by the psychiatrist as well, doesn’t change it from being ONLY a point of view), Jim had a stringent work ethic that allowed time off only when he was “ill.” So that is how his subconscious afforded him the time off …it was just that simple.

The antidote that worked rather quickly for him was in taking some mandatory time off. In his rather legalistic approach to theological training and experience, a strict observance of the Jewish Sabbath (Friday at sundown thru Saturday at sundown) had crept into his belief system, but the resting object of Sabbath had eluded him because he poured his talent and energies into what he considered to be “ministry” during the whole of his experience and interpretation of what the Jewish Shabbat meant to him during that 24 hour period.

How can it be his fault? Ask Source how you create.

The result was that he was exhausted and his body, in which the subconscious exists at a cellular level, obliged by getting “sick” so that he was forced to get the rest he believed (also subconsciously) that he needed.

If you tend to think the foregoing paragraph is some sort of hocus-pocus you may want to do a little research and see that what I received by “revelation,” I later learned also has a basis in scientific fact.  When I confronted Jim with the records that his absenteeism was the worst in the company by over double and in his own religious language, I told him what I had gotten by “praying” about it [“praying” is in quotes because it is another word like “God” …it means too many different things to too many different people to communicate anything meaningful to anyone] Jim had seen enough things so that he tended to trust me in matters he considered “spiritual.”

Jim was well grounded in going directly to our SPIRIT-PARENT and what I told him that I felt he needed to do which, again, was to plan to take time off, he confirmed for himself.

Do you have to discipline yourself to relax? CONFLICT.

The solution that worked for him was to plan time off and discipline himself to stick to it; no work, no ministry, just treat himself to time off – whether it was just a few hours or a couple of days – he agreed to schedule it and so that I could support him in his new decision, I suggested that he share his plan with me and, while I assured him that he didn’t need my approval, he agreed it would help, “because,” as he said, “you’re my human boss.”

We discussed the things that really gave him pleasure and he made a commitment to do nothing but those things during his scheduled times off.

Jim loved to hike on the many groomed hiking trails, with fantastic views, in the famed Columbia River Gorge, just east of Portland – he loved to go camping with his little boy Jeff …an endeavor which I also encouraged him to do, as a means to help him get past the internal conflicts that being a workaholic dad had created for him in not spending enough time with his kids.

Was the plan a success? Over the next two years, Jim was not only the leading salesperson for the company; he did not miss a single day of work due to illness …simply by applying Integration of the Mind101, that is, getting all parts of the mind integrated and cooperating plus connecting with the Universal Mind, by whatever other title or name – BWOTON, by asking, WHAT NOW? Well, that’s the Brad Cullen method, you are free to count beads, do Yoga by the nearest creek bed, attend 6:00 a.m. Mass daily or go play video games – whatever works for you that eliminates CONFLICT.

Use the pattern interrupt; "What Now".

I just asked my obligatory, “what now” and got a flash to gather with the Board as I was just given an insight about the reason for the makeup of this particular group of “advisors” and which brings us also to 1) Visualization and/or imagination as a means of creating “virtual reality.”

Two seeming disparate thoughts bombarded my consciousness this morning …first, “Letting go of one truth to make way for a better truth” – which, of course, will raise issues for those of you who insist that “truth is truth” and, therefore, levels of truth cannot be a factor. That kind of reasoning is what keeps all of us stuck in whatever current mode in which we are trapped.

It took scientists who were firmly entrenched in Classic or Newtonian physics many years to embrace Quantum Mechanics …and couldn’t get there until they could open their minds to the fact that the contradictory evidence of light being BOTH waves and particles; and that what they had been missing previously was the simplicity that what scientific experiments were proving on both sides of the equation was that light manifesting only as waves in one experiment and only as particles in the other. Hence BOTH were true at the same time, but not in the same situation.

How many dimensions can't you see?

Science has progressed enormously because of that “simple” solution of BOTH/AND …may it take place in the minds of the religious so that they can begin living in harmony while understanding that in this experiment called life in the 3rd and perhaps the 4th Dimension as wellultimate truth is a perceived reality with many attributes and all are TRUE.

What makes the words that came to me this morning so significant, again, “Letting go of one truth to make way for a better truth,” doesn’t mean disposing of the truth perceived earlier as the ONLY truth, but bringing us to the point that a better truth is the one in which all facets of truth as seen “in the eyes of God” exist as truth, in spite of our religious proclivity to think that one facet of truth is the all-encompassing or ultimate truth to the exclusion of other facets held onto by others who believe differently.

Sid is waving for my attention here as I am getting all caught up in my usual internal arguments. “Use the story of Abraham to emphasize this point,” he says and the others are all nodding their assent.

What is the chart maker really saying?

Okay, something which I didn’t understand how it related to “Letting go of one truth to make way for a better truth” was also hearing something this morning that I knew from a historical perspective, but hadn’t yet fully wrapped my conscious mind around.

Abraham is the human father of Judaism through the seed of Isaac and Islam through the seed of Ishmael …and, according to the Jewish preacher referred to by many Christians as “the Apostle Paul,” Christians are a part of the seed of Abraham only because they have been grafted into the “tree” like a branch. Observed from this point of view, which (will be more offending of others) is ONLY a point of view, Christianity is not the direct seed of Abraham.

Sheez, I’m getting laughed at again for my amazement. Okay, gentlemen, what am I supposed to be seeing here? They are all in agreement that I really need to slow down and let this thought soak into my own mind.

Lahti, just said, “I think I can help you, it is important to remind everyone that the difficulty is always in interpretation. All of us have assured you from the beginning that we are equals and brothers and shun any talk of one of us being higher than the other – that concept is far more difficult for followers of any of the three religions that you’ve noted …because the adherents insist that their way is the only way. The same thing exists with Taoism, for which I am blamed, but not to the degree that Jay or Sid, by being referred to respectively as the Lord Christ, or the Lord Buddha, even by those who aren’t part of those religions.”

How many truths have been spoiled for you? Don't believe the lie.

Baba, interjected, “If I was going to be smug, I’d say that this was the importance of the message I was given. But you see, such smugness is a position of ego that is part of the human condition – it wasn’t until we got out of our human shells that we came to the realization that what we had seen, as human teachers, and one in all,” Baba paused here and looked around to catch the eyes of the others and to the to the agreement of each, “is only a glimpse. In this manifestation, at this table with you, here and now, we all recognize the importance of the fact that you are merely getting a glimpse and we are sent to help you see that. No man and just as certainly no one religion can encapsulate all of the many facets of truth.”

“I feel the need,” this from Jay, “to remind you of something you learned clearly, and which I insist is a truth upon which we all around this table agree, that the ONE who lived and spoke through each of us in our human manifestation, which not all could hear; and it is important that you realize that the same ONE who is calling you to be one with us, is that same SPIRIT-PARENT to whom you continually refer, but we are merely a few of the many in dimensions your beloved science hasn’t yet begun to fathom, let alone understand. You have paid close attention to the words, ‘what’s that to you, you come follow me,’ we ten are governed by the same words emanating from the same ONE SOURCE of all, in other words we have not just been gathered at your direction, but by yours and our SPIRIT-PARENT as well.”

I’m sitting here at my key board stunned …what am I to do with all this which I have so clearly heard and know is a truth for me and that I am to share? The Voice within reminds me that some will catch it and be glad; others will reject it and even walk away and that that cannot be my concern.

What I’m getting is that we need to spill over once again into the next section.  “WHAT NOW?”, what’s coming up next is the 1-2-3 of the business left unfinished:

1) Visualization and/or imagination as a means of creating “virtual reality.” 2) Complete integration of all parts of the personal, human mind, both conscious and unconscious. 3) How I go about putting my mind under the complete control of our (your and my) SPIRIT-PARENT by whatever other title or name.
