Integration of the Mind – Part Thirty-Seven

Spiritual or Subconscious …and the Difference is?

Walnuts, fruit of the tree or just another seed? The difference is your point of view.

If we are hung up or, if you prefer, stuck, in one point of view …and that one view being that “everything is spiritual” …then we will insist upon the premise that there is no difference, in fact, there cannot be any difference between spiritual and subconscious.

I just saw a picture in my mind, the memory of how a walnut appears when still hanging from a tree. Walnuts, as you probably already know, are an excellent source of phenols and vitamins – but what you may not know is that the thin, waxy skin covering a shelled walnut is where the biggest bang for the buck exists from a nutritional point of view. Since it has a bitter taste, some self-appointed nutrition experts suggest all sorts of ways of getting rid of it, to the dismay of yet other experts …it’s all in the point of view, but we seem to have a hard time getting that either/or are only points of view.

So that I don’t go too far afield here, let’s ask – what is the picture of the walnut hanging from a tree all about?

Ah-hah! The reason for the picture is to illustrate that what we see on the tree is inedible until we find a way to get the inedible part off. Once that is accomplished we are still left with the shell, but somebody invented the nutcracker, so now we can pick off the pieces of shell and eat the dang thing.

An X-ray of the inside of Brad's head, looks like this. That's me on the left. 🙂

A WALNUT IS ALL ONE, an integrated whole …er, uh, with some different parts, correct? In order to eat a walnut we have to do a bit of processing – the shell is usable, but not edible, get it? Of course, you do, I’m just making up one of those arguments that publisher, Ryan Bruce, insists are always buzzing around in my mind.

In order to make optimum use of the body/mind/spirit whole, we have to understand only one simple thing and here is that very strange point of view of one Brad Cullen, which I promised earlier and which doesn’t have to be your point of view …and, after all, it is only one point of view:

What if those experts who insist upon ONENESS are missing an important factor? Further, what if that singular important factor has several distinctive parts? What if those different parts of the whole have such varied functions that they can be viewed, obviously, from yet a different point of view, as being separate and not only NOT working together, but even, here we go again (from yet another point of view) are at, what can easily be described as a, war amongst themselves?

Is this going on just beyond your senses? Ask Source.

“Spiritual warfare” is thought to be a kooky invention of certain far-out believers of the Christian Bible. I am not going to trot out a bunch of Bible verses that clearly indicate in both the original languages and translations into “modern” languages (and, therefore, providing evidence that some of the kooks holding onto the beliefs that such a war exists are Jews as well as Christians), PLUS any objective study of the Quran and Vedic writings will also uncover references to battles in the realms we cannot see with physical eyes and engineered by forces we also cannot see …and scholarly types that have knowledge of a broad view of the varying belief systems say that many people within both Hindu and Islamic persuasions believe in “spiritual warfare” as well.

Of course, people who are subjugated to a conqueror can hardly be called “at war” and those who, for whatever reason, insist that there is no spiritual enemy don’t engage in any battle and certainly have no weapons with which to so engage if they did believe in the possibility.

I AM NOT URGING YOU TO BELIEVE THIS …but if there is such spiritual interference going on …and that is only a question, wouldn’t it make better sense to acknowledge the possibility …and  access the power to overcome it instead of being defeated by it because we deny that it exists?

For over thirty-five years I’ve been sharing true stories about physicians with M.D., O.D. and D.C. designations after their names who have asked me to be involved with their patients because these doctors were convinced the ailments of these particular patients were due to spirit beings or, as one physician referred to them as, “entities.”

In every case, both physicians and patients are told by me that they don’t need me, that they have all the authority within them to deal with the problem. Fear of such an existence (such “entities” is natural, because it is simply the fear of the unknown.

Everyone reading this right now has already read my words, “I DON’T KNOW SQUAT.” There are those who go to great lengths to explain and write about their knowledge of how things work in this weird “spirit” arena. I cannot explain it and don’t try …I can only tell everyone willing to open their minds to the issue how I stumbled onto the way of getting rid of the results of their influence which include, but are not limited to some diseases which, again, the above referenced physicians were convinced the causes were these unseen enemy agents.

Asthma and Arthritis, a life of these or...Ask Source.

GONE! No fanfare, nothing …instantly cured, no dramatic exit; well, there are a few exceptions but that’s another story. One of my favorite true stories which I have labeled the, “Connie story,” because she was afflicted with asthma and arthritis; the onset of asthma was at three years of age – and told by enough doctors over her forty years of suffering with it that her kind was incurable, that she firmly believed, along with her doctors, that it was true. The thing(s) causing both asthma and arthritis, again, GONE in just a few minutes and quite dramatically …at the advanced age of 43 – and the last report I had, ten years after the incident …is that Connie is still free of both.

Let’s focus on two questions Connie asked after she was freed from the interference, by which I mean there was no longer any symptoms – the labored, wheezing breathing that had been in evidence moments earlier (and practically her whole life previously) and the severe pain and limited movement in her joints, again, GONE!  Why didn’t prayer work in her case and is asthma always caused by “enemy agents” (by whatever other title or name)?

It's not made of steel, it's made of Authority.

I’ve never claimed such a thing and I don’t claim it now. I also do not claim any special powers as a healer of any variety …everyone already has the ability, I refer to as authority, to access the same power as I do …and people get healed. Why is that? I dunno, but they always do. If they don’t believe they have this “authority” then, isn’t it rather obvious that they’ll never use it?

I do say that such health challenges are often due to an inner conflict that is mental rather than spiritual. Is there a difference? Depends upon your point of view; there are all sorts of interesting points of view …I’m not stuck on any and I venture to say that those who suffer from the effects of a disease, just want relief and whatever system works for them is just fine with me.

We’ll begin #38 with an abbreviated version of another oft-repeated story that involves a simple phrase responsible for many people opening the door to receiving healing from a variety of diseases diagnosed by qualified physicians and determined by them to be incurable. This as a means to put an end to the argument as to whether there is a difference between spiritual and the subconscious/physical …well; it ends the argument, but that’s ONLY from my point of view.
