Integration of the Mind – Part Thirty-Five

No Matter How I Define It, It Is What You Think

Your words are colored by your perception.

One of the challenges that each of us face, is that it is almost impossible to communicate with one another. We think we speak the same language, but to borrow a theme from the previous chapter …just because another man said “everything is spiritual” didn’t change what “spiritual” means to me.

Even though I, now, after a mere four years, understand and accept what he is saying from his point of view, when I use the word spiritual I am distinguishing it from that which is physical.

“How, then, do you account for MY words saying that if the people stopped praising, the rocks would cry out?”

Oops, I stand corrected.

I’m not totally aware of the reason for me shining light on my meaning as opposed to Bell’s meaning – so let’s ask, what is the reason?

WOW …this isn’t a matter of which one is correct, in fact, I’m totally in tune with his point of view, but what is important for me to say here is that this isn’t about the emphasis that Rob Bell has been given or what I’m being given – but what each of you get. Because his works for him and mine works for me, THEY BOTH WORK, but so that what you get will work too!

Sent home to die or is it, die to get home.

The answer to the question I just got,  was to help each of you avoid the hard lessons some folks have to go through, to get to the place they can receive healing directly from the SOURCE of all healing and which is available right now.

It is easy to get caught up in a particular belief or healing system when it works for me. I’m supposed to tell the sideline of a healing story to illustrate the point.

A woman had just been healed of multiple health problems including being almost completely blind – she had just a bit of sensitivity to light and shadows and that was the extent of her ability to “see.” That which caused it all also left her. Her doctors had sent her home to die; she was terminal and there was nothing left that the medical system could do …INCLUDING SCREWING HER UP ANY FURTHER!

Hospice was already in full command helping her and her family to accept death “with grace and peace.”

There are many interesting facets to this story that would literally fill up a book of one hundred pages or more. That’s not the point that is being driven home to me here.

Could all Hospital emergency rooms look like this?

I went to that couple’s home with a preconceived notion of what caused her problem and, therefore, what to do about it; in other words, dependent upon a particular system which, by the way, worked!

Her husband asked: “Why can’t you go into a hospital and heal everyone there?” It was a simple question, with several “correct” answers. His next question was about a back injury he had received many years previously and that he was in a lot of pain and could this same kind of faith heal that too?

It was on the tip of my tongue to deliver my usual, at that time, disclaimer: “I don’t have faith; I have the authority that anyone can have to get rid of the cause of problem.”

What interrupted me from delivering my bit of wisdom, was the fellow who had invited me told the husband that he had laid hands on people many times for healing …in my mind, was the thought, “that isn’t going to work.”fraud

This system works every time.

The man said, “Would you do that for me?” He was completely and immediately healed. After suffering with pain and inflexibility and doctors telling him there was nothing that could be done except take extra-strength pain relievers and he had also become addicted to codeine; all this for almost twenty years.

He began excitedly demonstrating how he could bend and twist in every direction, raise his arms straight over his head, something he couldn’t do moments before.

I chalked it up to us being in an atmosphere of faith and belief. Then I asked and received a totally different answer …which was succinct, simple and, to me, loud and clear:

“NEVER TRUST ANY ONE SYSTEM OR ANY ONE PERSON. COME TO ME!”

What now? Here’s what I am being given to say, this moment: It isn’t a matter of faith or belief which are words that mean different things to different people. I can come to I AM without believing or totally absent of any faith according to what those words mean to me – except I could give an eloquent argument that coming (or, if you prefer, going) to our SPIRIT-PARENT, by whatever other title or name, is a product of faith and belief, but that is not what I am being given to say, for this moment, by SPIRIT!

I don't know if he will fall...I don't know squat.

Intellectual argument is NOT spiritual, it is anti-spiritual. It is the root of skepticism …I DON’T KNOW SQUAT, that IS spiritual …therefore, folks, everything is NOT spiritual, except to those who it is, and they will do just fine, thank you very much.

So, how do I help all those who right now want to know how to approach our SPIRIT-PARENT?

“Tell them this one thing: If you will just say ‘help me’ and ask ME ‘what else shall I do?’ Do you think I will turn my back on them? As I have given to you to say and say it quite often, tell them once again, if you will follow these simple instructions UNTIL you break through into getting the answer that is right for you, you will KNOW what to do and that is the promise of I AM to you, yesterday, today and forever.”

…and that, my friends is spiritual and, once again, for me, not everything is.
