Integration of the Mind – Part Twenty
Allowing the Better Driver to Do its Job –2
When I went through my little tool box this morning, with which I start each day (and/or whenever needed) and which is labeled ALWAYS FIRST* see free offer below …up in the top tray, of course is, “What Now?” – I got:
“Focus on Adrenaline, Stress and Tension, convene your Board of Advisors.”
We met and discussed all the things that have been bouncing around in me, consciously, since I shared that publisher, Ryan Bruce, and I are addicted to endorphins and stress and, in fact, have a stress response to many things, but have discovered a rather simple way to replace it with a relaxation response.
I started #20 yesterday and had a cornucopia of ideas dumped into the conscious part of my mind …which had me reeling with excitement.
Speaking about personal excitement, not only has Ryan informed me that he wants me to edit this series Integration of the Mind into a book format which he intends to publish immediately (well, more or less, knowing Ryan’s proclivities to have a gazillion projects ongoing and planned); he tells me, almost daily, that this series has a deep meaning for him, personally, but I have also had more favorable responses from all around the globe than any time since all those I received after writing Treasure Chest and then Leapfrog.
The Board’s decision was unanimous …make the subtitle of #20 a continuation – a part two of #19 – for the purpose of emphasizing “leaving the driving” to the more powerful part of my personal mind, the subconscious and superconscious and share exactly how I do that …which I have often referred to as getting into the zone where I hear consciously and directly from our SPIRIT-PARENT or, if you prefer, Universal Mind, the answers to “what now.”
It is important, the Board told me, to review the command I have given to the subconscious part of my personal, integrated mind, and to express loving gratitude for it faithfully following through to make it “our” joint purpose to be aware 24/7 of “my” connection with I AM … “as it was in the beginning.” As one of the favorable and encouraging comments from a woman here in the states pointed out recently, “some will think that you are delusional” …the foregoing makes me understand the thought completely – and this is just the beginning!
The reason this is important for YOU is to reiterate the collective belief of the Board and I that the same awareness is available to any individual who also wants it – this connection, has overcome all bondage to anything written in the past, no matter how sacred it seems or seemed.
I once wrote a piece that emphasized how silly it was for somebody to insist that they had learned something from something I had written years earlier, and use that to argue with something I had received from our SPIRIT-PARENT to write today – the correlation should be obvious.
Per usual, the Board is laughing with me …and don’t forget that the majority of my Board has been “accused” of also writing much of what is still considered sacred …some of it, such as Zoe’s, which is considered the earliest of all religious writing – and “holy” wars are still being fought – while the authors, among my Board members, insist that they are brothers walking arm in arm, marching lockstep in the purpose of being connected and sharing the intimate connection we each have to our (and your) SPIRIT-PARENT and THEY resist all notions that they are responsible for the multitudinous factions and arguments …including and especially those that break out into insults, denigration of one another all the way up to violence and all-out war.
I just asked them for their input and they are, one and all, nodding in approval for what I have just written here.
I have shared in an earlier segment that I have also commanded the personal subconscious part of the mind of this body bag I occupy, to meet with the Board anytime they call a meeting so that there is a background of empowerment and advice going on continually without regard to whether I’m aware of it.
Back to the story that demonstrated the supreme ability of the subconscious to drive that old Kenworth with twin double trailers and multiple gears and other crazy complicated nonsense that probably means little to anyone else, but simply that I enjoy reminiscing.
GET IT DONE, I tell the subconscious, with supreme confidence that it is far better equipped to process all the information being transmitted throughout the entire universe from the SOURCE of everything and the complicated cellular connections that make up the totality of the human mind …including the scientifically proven fact of the interconnection between the millions of cells, each containing neurotransmitters, in this body-bag that make up the electrically charged nervous system and the personal mind and its connection ultimately with the vibratory frequencies pulsating throughout the universe and monitored with scientific instruments.
Why, I can ask, almost arrogantly, would anyone want to depend upon the conscious, cognitive (thought processing) part of the mind, as important as it is, to do the job that the subconscious part can do infinitely more powerfully?
* It is time to pause to make the offer to send anyone a FREE copy of my tool box referenced above. Write me, brad@spiritualhealingsource.com type into the subject line “tool box” and you’ll receive a copy by return e-mail – WE GUARANTEE NOT TO GIVE AWAY OR SELL YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS TO ANYONE – I NO LONGER EVEN SEND “ADVANCE COPIES” OF ARTICLES (if you want more, you already know where to find them).
As to how Ryan and I are learning to replace the stress response with what I’m calling the relaxation response – we have developed a little imaginary button labeled: To relax press here. For me it is simply the command mechanism for the subconscious to override the conscious, which for me, I am discovering, more and more is responsible for creating my daily stresses.
Referred to in an earlier segment is that, for me, the primary foundation for an integrated mind is to develop a loving relationship between the conscious and the unconscious. Just as praise and thanks for all sorts of helpful acts performed by relatives, friends and even employees and business associates tends to increase loving cooperation …I’m finding the same is true to build the relationship between conscious and sub conscious.
Blaming the subconscious for self-defeating thoughts and habits is an obstacle to a loving relationship, just as blaming others for whatever goes wrong in our lives does not create a foundation for bonding.
Finally, with regard to stress and tension and the harmful effects both have on the body –I strongly suggest you look over this brief, but thorough article about the subject found on the American Psychological Association website: “Stress Effects on the Body” https://www.apa.org/helpcenter/stress-body.aspx
Then, just as I’ve pointed out, how I believe I’ve given the subconscious a bad rap in the past …just as there is bacteria that is not only beneficial, but actually essential to the body, and the same with cholesterol and certain fats and oils …and just as overdoing it with certain vitamin and mineral supplements can be very harmful, the benefits to taking the right amounts are enormous, there is “good” stress and “bad” stress.
I lifted the following off a health insurance website:
Good Stress: Good stress helps us go about our daily tasks and achieve those hard-to-reach goals. This stress, called eustress, helps us learn new things, adapt to change and engage in creative thinking. Everyone experiences good stress on a daily basis. Another form of good stress is the stress that enables us to survive in times of trauma. This stress makes us aware of danger and enables us to escape when we need to.
Bad Stress: Bad forms of stress do not help us achieve goals or tasks, but instead actually inhibit our ability to function on a daily basis. Bad stress occurs when too much stress builds up around us. Once the body feels there is too much stress, it will begin to break down, causing symptoms like perspiration, anxiety, headaches and rapid breathing. This kind of stress can take a huge toll on your physical and mental well-being.
That’s it for #20 …I haven’t a clue as to the content of #21, but have been assured that there will be one. See you there!
