Integration of the Mind – Part Six
Which View, ”this” or “other” world?
We’ve talked a lot on this website about parallel universes …so when I use the term “other world” that’s basically what I’m trying to communicate – I made an attempt to convey this rather weird (to the many who believe that the only reality is the one which they can see) point of view in the book The 4th Dimension.*
*Published in 2012 by SHS Publishing and available free in digital form …and as a special offer, a FREE paperback copy will be sent, post-paid, to anyone requesting it, funds permitting …just send me an e-mail, brad@spiritualhealingsource.com including your street address. Amazon’s contract printer will send it by UPS Ground …and they will not ship to a Post Office box. Sorry, but this paperback offer is limited to those residing in the U.S.
In many religious beliefs, the English term that is somewhat synonymous with “other world” is spirit world …meaning that which we cannot see with these eyes that are designed for the third dimension reality, which many scientists call an illusion …including the late Albert Einstein, who said about that point of view, “although a convincing one” (that this physical plane is an illusion).
Again, in many religions, the belief is that this “other world” is where spirit beings, including the Almighty ONE, by whatever other term or name, they attach to this unique, Supreme Spirit entity, reside.
Many physicists nowadays argue that there is evidence for many dimensions and that Quantum Physics allows that the number may go far higher than the 5th or even the 20th dimension; interesting point of view, held by the mad Russian philosopher, Justan Ipov …if you haven’t guessed, IPOV is an acronym for Interesting Point Of View …imaginary credits due to a couple of guys by the names of Gary Douglas and Dain Heer. Who, by the way, claim that by thinking or saying, “Interesting point of view, I have that point of view,” repeatedly, has a tendency to free the human mind from making judgments and conclusions based on preconceived ideas that have little or no validity.
Ryan Bruce, the CEO of SHS Publishing, Inc. and I, always being willing to experiment with all kinds of strange notions, have put this particular one to the test and have found that our petty arguments tend to disappear by practicing this …you may want to try it the next time you find your emotions triggering a need to argue with a point of view which you cannot tolerate.
It is what Ryan and I are discovering in our own relationship – maintained for the moment, over the 3500 highway miles that separate us, by long distance telephone and e-mail, although we have traveled together to such wild and exotic places as the Philippines, West Indies, France, Switzerland, U.S. and Canada, etc. over our 17 years of business involvement with each other.
Let’s see, a little introspection is going on here …did I bring that up to impress somebody, or am I just trying to have a bit of fond memory of our travels and business and spiritual experiences together? Does it matter which?
Come to think about it, for a couple of guys who love to talk about all kinds of weird stuff like inter-dimensional and, on occasion even “out-of-body” traverses …how impressive is travel in “this world?”
Okay, to the point of this, the 6th part of this series; INTEGRATING the two or three or even more parts of the mind for living in what I call the presence and power of our SPIRIT-PARENT …if you prefer to put a different title or name to this personage, my understanding is that HE/SHE/IT has no negative judgment towards such naming …although some people react almost violently to my attaching the acronym BWOTON (By Whatever Other Term Or Name) – why, for the life of me, I have a difficult time understanding. Ryan was among those with a rather intense dislike at first …then he saw my lame attempt at humor.
Further, he finally asked and got his own confirmation that resisting a mere acronym was limiting at best and point-missing at worst and has now joined me to the point that he can even pronounce BWOTON!
What is the point? With regard to the integration of the mind, the only importance of BWOTON is that it reminds me that you and I may look at things differently underscores an interesting human dynamic …it tends to create our own individual reality without changing the object of our point of view for anyone but the person holding any particular point of view.
If you recall, in a recent part of this series, I injected a philosophy held by Sigmund Freud that “sometimes a cigar is only a cigar” (rather than a phallic symbol). In other words, sometimes the label we pin to anything, including, but most certainly not limited to God, is only a label.
BWOTON reminds me that if the label is important to you, it is important to you and if all of your upbringing has created a groove in the subconscious that there can be only one proper label …that is perfectly okay. It is an interesting point of view, remember? I have that point of view.
We’re going to leave it at that, for now – as a preparatory step to Part Seven which will be managing the integrated mind …which involves some principles of organization and delegation which, perhaps, it may well serve to bring the integrated mind into the funnel of miracle working, healing power it was designed to be.
It took me a bit of time just now to formulate the order of words in the foregoing, because it is an important part of what I was receiving and I didn’t want to botch it.
If your point of view allows that the mind is not the SOURCE of spiritual healing and healing power, but rather the medium through which spiritual healing and healing power from the SOURCE can flow – then the significance of the word funnel cannot be understated …that’s what we’re going to play with next.
How does it get any better than this? Keep asking the question and you may begin to see that trying to figure out the way to make it better with the conscious mind, may well slow up the process.
BWOTON already has it figured out and will produce it automatically if I allow it by merely asking the question continually …the meaning, for me, of the axiom: “questions are empowering, answers disempowering.”
