Integration of the Mind – Part Five

“Assumed Truth” (and a New Direction)

Oh Brad...such a disappointing confession.

Several e-mail requests later …some people actually have requested the true story I promised back in Part One and which I never delivered. Frankly, with all the excitement going on within both SHS Publisher Ryan Bruce and me, I thought it was just something I could and should forget …this morning I clearly got, not so.

First off, let’s quote a paragraph from Part One:

“We both have learned and accepted the view that in order to change our present and future as it relates to finance, we have to take total responsibility for what has occurred to us in the past. Another way of saying it is, that somehow, on a subconscious level, we have attracted everything that has ever occurred to us, both “good” and “bad.”

Just an interesting point of view. Ipov's a cat.

We could say that while there seems to be solid scientific evidence for what is contained in the immediately foregoing paragraph …and we can also say that it is another quote from the mad Russian philosopher, Justan Ipov, that is, “just an interesting point of view, I have that point of view.”

In other words, taking personal responsibility for everything that has ever occurred to us, is a fairly newly adopted “assumed truth” that Ryan and I both have adopted to replace the old assumed truth of an external cause and effect approach to life.

What I mean by the former view of cause and effect is that certain events over which we supposedly had no control in our lives were what created our circumstances.

For Ryan and me that simply is no longer the truth and by taking personal responsibility for everything that has happened to us previously and in our present state of affairs …we either created it or attracted it; we are now free to make CHANGES.

God, I'm using your gift.

I have long held this view in the Spiritual arena, particularly with folks who have the view that God causes (or allows) everything that takes place in life. I have countered that view by continually writing, “God allows me to breathe, so what?”

Both views are dissolved as arguments by adopting Justan Ipov’s philosophy that basically everything is an interesting point of view …both mine and anybody else’s – which makes neither IPOV true nor untrue and ends, for me, all argument and judgment.

Okay, we’ve laid enough background to get to both the promised old, but true story and the new direction toward which Ryan and I feel both passionate and guided and must follow SPIRIT step by step because we have only been given the first few steps even though we see a general direction about which we are rather calmly excited.

The story is one I shared recently about how a group of six psychiatric patients, their spouses and I (total of thirteen) all went through dramatic life changes as individuals, couples and as a group collectively.

All six patients no longer had to take meds prescribed by a physician-psychiatrist – or see him for therapy and the couples had a dramatic turn-around to otherwise significantly troubled marriages.

You don't have an imaginary friend?

How that took place was by agreeing to imagine that Jesus was present in the meeting with us and by agreeing to a rule that we wouldn’t share our problems or views towards those problems, either about our own or another member of the group, but that each of us would talk only to this “imaginary” Jesus in the center of our circle.

An interesting part of the story was when, starting with two of the patients, different members began hearing this imaginary Jesus give them answers. It wasn’t long before all thirteen of us began hearing his answers. Even one of the patient’s husband, an attorney, who upon the first incident of Jesus providing an answer, stormed out of the room stating the equivalent to “you people really are nuts!”

This guy in his supremely confident skepticism was overwhelmed to the point of believing firmly that what had been concocted in our group imagery had become real.

If Ryan feels it is important, he can provide an editorial note about where to find the story in our archives or just write to me and I’ll find, copy and e-mail it to you, upon request.

This is for you.

Now to the “new direction” we are taking in our lives – just yesterday morning I had barely swung my legs over the side of the bed, when this idea very clearly formed in my consciousness: “A mental/spiritual alternative to perfect health and longevity.”

At first I thought it was the title of a piece I would be writing and just went about the chore of waking up and all the little personal rituals that go along with my coming out of the fog of morning.

When I finally sat down at my computer and asked my customary “what now?” I expected to begin what I often refer to as transcribing what comes to me as the piece that goes along with the title I’ve been given.

“NO! This is extraordinary abundance and now is the time.”

Like an electric signboard …the following started flashing in my mind:

The Mental/Spiritual Alternative to:

Perfect Health and Longevity

-Instantly or Incrementally-

You Choose, You Set the Pace

Free workshops, free materials

Free Lifetime Memberships

Affordable Personal Consultations

This is a place for you to enjoy.

I wrote to Ryan saying, that I’d found my passion …something that is lacking in all the business endeavors we currently find ourselves involved and from which we both have the assumed truth that extraordinary abundance will come …eventually.

I told him that if he also found passion in it, to attach a name and a website to it. He responded not only with a name, but did so passionately with a whole bunch of insights he had received from SPIRIT as to exactly what several steps to the operation would be – that have given me even more calm excitement and intense passion.

Here is what I am seeing for the VERY NEAR FUTURE. Those People who receive healing, whether instantly or incrementally, will be open to adopting new truth to replace a quite commonly held assumed truth which plagues human society in general …and just what is that?

Before you react to it, please remember what Russian philosopher Justan Ipov says, got it? …now it is safe to proceed without getting all embroiled in any pro or con judgment:

It doesn't lead to a place, it leads to being.

Here is the almost universally held, “assumed truth” …Physical death is the only door to what has been described as “eternal life” – what I have coined as “ultimate faith” can take you way beyond that assumed truth if you are willing for the transformation.

It is your choice; however, we try not to be overly forceful in any of our points of view …after all, if we are to believe Justan, that’s all they are.

I sense we’re not through with this series about integrating our minds just yet; we’ll have to wait and see, I’ve been given other things to do at the moment.

Later,

bc
