What Jesus Is Teaching me Today; …Right NOW (32)

LESSON THIRTY-TWO: Speak The Word”

How much can you harvest by yourself?

LESSON THIRTY-ONE prompted many readers to write me from all over the world with supportive comments and to all of which I sent responses.

This one, from Zimbabwe, this a.m., caused an interesting reaction in me:

RE: Number 31:

Amen!! Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. And ALL these things shall be added unto you. Hallelujah!! I know where the field is (in the eternal Kingdom, 4th Dimension) and I know who the Master Farmer is. Now I just need to find the combined harvester!!

As many of you know, Ryan is moving forward with plans for producing a movie based on “my” novel Leapfrog – he has also been urging me to write a sequel, which is in the process. The undergirding truth to the original story and its continuation is the fact that people who get the message of going directly to our SPIRIT-PARENT always leap way over my head and move into truths from SPIRIT from which I have learned, oh so, much. Ryan, the CEO of the publishing company SHS in British Columbia, Canada, has referred to Leapfrog as “foundational reading, an important story for everyone who wants to move forward in a relationship with our SPIRIT-PARENT.”

How much can you harvest with some good tools?

Ryan is certainly one of those who leapfrogged way over my head …when I first met him some fifteen years ago he came to me saying he needed a spiritual mentor …he now is a tool that SPIRIT uses to provide stimulation and correction for me as do so many of you.

This particular e-mail, the one quoted above, is from just such a man, who continues to write truths to me that demonstrate our ONENESS and interdependence upon one another and our SPIRIT-PARENT …yet this particular e-mail suggested a hunger for a response from SPIRIT through me.

I asked what, if anything, I was to write back and was somewhat taken back with the answer …I was to write: “what’s coming to me …is that the harvester is your mouth.” I felt prompted to click on “send” without saying anything else, and then I recalled the passage in Romans that says: “Confession is made unto salvation.” As I have been sharing for many years that word, “salvation,” has been misconstrued and mistranslated to mean something that is conveyed in the original language – reading it in a Greek New Testament changed my life. I’m being prompted to tell an old story.

I was in the San Francisco Bay Area, on business, staying at the Airport Hilton Inn and over the weekend I had stumbled onto the passage Paul wrote to a group of his converts living in the area of Rome – I was dumbfounded by it and determined to ask a Greek-speaking business client of mine who owned a large Greek Restaurant, with a breathtaking view of the bay, a fleet of fishing boats which supplied not only his own restaurant and fish market,  but many restaurants and hotels in the area with fresh fish; the family also owned a Greek foods wholesale distributorship and a retail Greek foods market.

How much can you harvest by yourself?

I already had an appointment for Monday morning with Nick, the son of the still living founder, and (the son) who managed their entire operation and maintained a large suite of offices near their restaurant in South San Francisco …Nick’s family, all members of the huge and famous Greek Orthodox Church in the Mission District of San Francisco and devout Christians. I determined to show him the passage and ask if I was interpreting it correctly.

A towering man, Nick gave me his usual crushing embrace …as I sat down in front of his expansive desk, he took a chair next to me rather than the large executive chair behind the desk – in typical fashion we talked about everything and anything but business for several minutes. I finally was unable to contain my excitement any longer:

“Hey, I came across this passage in a Greek New Testament and I wanted to make sure I wasn’t crazy …the word translated as “salvation” in many English translations seems to mean, in the original, “rejoined with God.” I took my copy out of my briefcase and handed it to him where I had book-marked it. He agreed …but said, “Just a second” and turned to face the hallway through the open door:

How much can you harvest with some good tools?

“Hey Pop,” he yelled …to a rather guttural response which I didn’t understand, “Could you come in here?” Nick and I had had many conversations of a spiritual nature and I had met his father about a year earlier. After a few words of pleasantries, his father’s English was very limited and was heavily accented, Nick showed him the Greek New Testament I had brought with me. His father’s face lighted up …and Nick pointed to the word, and spoke it sounding like “soads-zoh” – and then said, “Can you explain what the word means to you?”

The elderly man looked at me and recalling what it sounded like to me: “We haff many feeshing botas …when a bota runs into the rocks – all broken apart” …he paused to separate his hands to demonstrate the works “broken apart” –

“Soads-zoh, means two things – when bota brought up on dock – boat is feexed, how you say, re-paired, put back together with new boards and fixtures …dot ees one meaning of word, other meaning is when all work is complete, feenished,” and at this he brought his hands back together with a loud clap and said SOADS-ZOH!”

How much can you harvest joined with the Word of God?

He and Nick then pointed out how watered down the rest of the Christian world had translated the word, but this is the true meaning, they both emphasized, that “soads-zoh” means joined together again with God and joked that, now that I had learned the truth, perhaps I would join the true church.

That was the backdrop for many new insights of just how our English speaking traditions have botched so many truths, but with the words given me for my friend and brother in Zimbabwe this morning I am reminded of another word which has been mangled in English – here in English characters, “Logos” …this basically means the complete expression of God, making reference to the fact that the Creative SPIRIT part of the Elohiym (again, here in English characters) actually a plural word that refers to all the SPIRITS which make up the totality of God …and which is why Muslims, reject the “Triune” God of Christianity and the many faceted God of the Hebrew Elohiym and the many faceted God of Buddhism and Hinduism.

What Now?

I AM the WORD and to all who will hear ME today in the completeness of the NOW and will allow I AM to permeate their being and allow ME to speak through them because they have become ONE with I AM – can now say before there was religion, any religion, I AM.

Say no more until you have been energized afresh.
