What Jesus Is Teaching me Today; …Right NOW (28)
LESSON TWENTY-EIGHT: “SPEAK NO EMPTY WORDS”
What if life or death depended on what you said?
When you command …do so boldly. Authority means exactly that – if you don’t sense authority within you let it be a signal that you are in conflict. Take these words to mean that if you are not sensing the authority to command, don’t command until you do. In those times and they are numerous, come to ME until you know you are in MY authority.
When you command while assuming that the force of your words alone carry authority, you speak idly. The scriptural words which say that you will be held accountable for every idle word spoken merely mean that idle words have no effect. I have given you to share that to say, “In the name of Jesus” has no effect unless it is in the name and nature of I AM.
Remember the great chasm which caused the lament, “Why have you forsaken me!!?” I didn’t declare “It is finished” until it was finished. Make no decrees and commands until MY work is complete in you. That work accomplished today does not necessarily carry over to tomorrow. Now you understand the emptiness and futility of liturgy.
So many believe that speaking curses is taking the name of I AM in vain, let this correction overtake you; SPEAK NO EMPTY WORDS. Words spoken apart from the authority of I AM …these are the words which are spoken in vain.
Writing what Jesus said, as is.
I received and transcribed the foregoing around 5:00 a.m. yesterday morning and have been “sitting” on these four paragraphs for over twenty-four hours. I read them to Ryan Bruce, who is the webmaster of www.spiritualhealingsource.com and the CEO of the publishing company that publishes Brad Cullen books, during a phone conversation yesterday afternoon. We both marveled over the content. I told him I hadn’t yet received clarity as to whether I should make comments as to what they were meaning to and for me or just to leave Jesus’ words “as is.”
Now I understand the reason for waiting. I first learned the concept that “prayer” was to be a command or a demand to be brought into existence on the physical plane that of which I clearly knew that our (your and my) SPIRIT-PARENT, by whatever other term or name, had already established, by decree, as HER/HIS/ITS desires and purposes or “will” from the realm of SPIRIT. I had received this revelation while reading the first thirteen verses of Luke 11 in a Greek-English interlinear New Testament …that if I believed that I would receive what it was I was demanding, and kept demanding it UNTIL it came into existence in the physical that it would come into being.
As I began realizing the truth and power of this concept, I began sharing it with others. I have already told the story about the college student who asked me at the beginning of a class, “What can you teach us about praying that we don’t already know; I mean, how do you pray any differently than I pray?” As you remember, she spoke this with so much intense hostility that I cried out (albeit silently) “how shall I respond to this?” When I got the answer I was almost afraid to say it to her, but followed instructions:
God...! Why won't you heal me!!!!
“The difference is that when I pray I know that what I pray will come into existence, when you pray you don’t?” Sure enough, the intensity of her hostility increased to the point of her making a rather dramatic exit from the classroom replete with slammed door behind her.

As I went to bed last night I still hadn’t received clarity as to whether I was to add my comments or reverie to what Jesus had said to me yesterday morning or simply leave the words he had given me “as is.” I said, “Well, I know you will give me the answer in the morning …and sure enough:
This can be a turning point for many – in fact chapter 28 in your book will become a well-known blend of the old with the new. Ryan’s and your purpose for producing a book of my teaching for you in the NOW of today is so that many people will come to I AM directly and learn the interdependence of human equality. It is time for all men and women to come into their destiny of constant awareness of I AM thus being able to speak “before there was anything I AM” with authority, that is, knowing and not speaking idly.
Most of my words are idle. I don't know if I can stop it. Christ help me!
As at so many other points of transcribing these words for this series and the book it shall become …I AM in a state of joyful overwhelm over all that I am learning. A joining of the present with a vision for the future and being used as a mere vessel through which many will not only receive LIGHT, but also become vessels of LIGHT from which Ryan and I will also receive truth and encouragement. The truth of I AM is that WE ARE!
“I am in and of the will of God …Your presence and power are upon me and I want and have nothing else and no other thought or feeling shall find a permanent place in me. I AM.”
As many of you know, I received the immediate foregoing words while walking and praying on a beach near my home, at the time, in Kihei, Maui. I knew I was receiving a “mantra” that was to be spoken many times a day, “as needed” just like a prescription.
I am being instructed that this, too, is a blend. The question looms: Can’t these words also be spoken “idly?”
Are these just idle words? Ask Source.
The answer to those having this honest question is “yes.” Spiritual discernment begins: There is ample medical and scientific research that proves the “placebo effect” can be more powerfully effective than the actual chemical composition of a prescription drug that the placebo is replacing: We have to answer this question about speaking words “idly” and then make the application to commands, demands, decrees, declarations or “mantras,” by whatever term we are using to mean the same thing. The power of a placebo is nullified if the patient doesn’t believe and have the accompanying emotional force that the “real” thing is being ingested and the intent of the patient to overcome the malady.
Increase your emotional force with light from within.
It should be remembered that the reverse is also true, that is, the power of the “real” thing is nullified if the patient, at whatever level of consciousness or unconsciousness, does not have the intent and emotional force of wanting to be “cured.”
In other words, the command or demand is only as valid as the belief and the emotional force and intent that accompany it otherwise it is spoken “Idly.”
To those who already operate at some level of belief and intent, this (LESSON 28 along with Brad Cullen comments) are a lot of words – AND MAY AS WELL NOT BE WRITTEN IF RECEIVED “IDLY.”
I’m not delivering these words idly, for I know that many will reach a point of breakthrough from putting them to work – and I am not through just yet. The beauty of the story of the college student was not that she followed my example, but that she went home emotionally charged …she was ANGRY. She beat on the top of her bed with intensity: “Why does that horrid man get answers to his prayers and I don’t get answers to mine?” Two hours of this and she was healed. She went directly to our SPIRIT-PARENT and got her answer …fully healed from mononucleosis!
“Idly” means in the absence of emotional force and intent.
One last reference (in this LESSON) to my experiences, but I am assured this will produce the desired effect, that is, that some of you will “get it” and go “direct.” Not looking to the leadership of any other human being, but just as Jesus did in total dependence upon our SPIRIT-PARENT.
