What Jesus Is Teaching me Today; …Right NOW (27)
LESSON TWENTY-SEVEN: “Now Hear This”
Ask Them This: Did I not choose to manifest in my human experience by being born into a Jewish family? Because I have chosen you to be a spokesman for one small, but essential element of truth which seems at variance with religious thought, including Jewish traditions, do you think I want you to disparage others who do not yet share in that small portion of overall truth to which you correctly refer as merely one perspective?
While there are those who want to continue revisiting what one Jew, Solomon, who was famous for his wisdom because he offered to cut a baby in half to see which of two women was the actual mother; and that same group foolishly continues to quote his proverb that “the sins of the fathers overtake the sons” …forgetting that the Jewish prophet, Ezekiel, later said to no longer quote that proverb so as to demonstrate MY mercy to all who come to ME in the NOW, including the sons of those fathers – is not an excuse for denigrating those who are in bondage to written words, or in bondage to refuting those same words.
Remember that I once said, “It was said of old, ‘an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth,’ but I say unto you, love your enemies.”
You have correctly pointed out that those who claim to follow I AM haven’t paid close attention to what I have said.
As you heard me say yesterday, I have not come to you to share anything intended to supersede what I have spoken before, yet all things are swallowed up in the NOW. This is the meaning of not judging anything.
Contemplate this until it permeates every cell in the body you occupy: The past and the future are those elements of time to which you must not be in bondage.Eternal Life is NOW – there is no future there is no past. Arguing against the prophecy of the past is not beneficial. Arguing against the predictions of the future is not beneficial. Continue urging those caught in such arguments to come to I AM in the NOW.
After LESSON TWENTY-SIX I couldn’t conceive that I would be given anything else to write. It was as if that LESSON was to end all LESSONS for me; obviously I have much left to learn; and, with respect to that previous LESSON not to “learn” as a means to accumulate knowledge, but “learn” as a means to enhance the process of ever-increasing awareness of wisdom that comes from beyond the limits of human knowledge and, therefore, how to get into a mode or “zone” of increased receptivity to the SOURCE of infinite wisdom.
What now?
For what purpose would you rush on to whatever is next? Have you digested this much? That you feel the need to read and reread what came though your fingers, demonstrates that you are attempting to rely on what has already been written, even though some would mistake this for words written by a confused mind. Do you think I don’t understand the feeling?
