LESSON TWENTY-SIX: “Past and Future; the Difference”

That's quite the collection you have. Do you play them often? CONSTANTLY!

You can distinguish between what is coming from what you refer to as the “subconscious” and what is coming from I AM quite easily. What is recorded in the subconscious is exactly that, RECORDED. What is important about this is the impetus for this series. Your experiences, including those based upon what you have read and therefore dared to do “with faith” are recorded. If your faith is based upon either your experiences or what you believe are sacred writings, you are being governed by the past. By hearing MY voice today you begin to understand that NOW is the future. Do I know the future? Can you, will you understand that I have designed things to have a life of their own. This is the reason I have told you many times that it is “your choice.” I do know what is for your better good, not because I control the future, but because I live in the NOW where there is no past; that is, no beginning. There is no future …only NOW.

What I have just said will be troubling to you only if you are trying to put what I AM saying into human understanding which is based on the past. You can tell those who insist upon letting the Bible be their guide, to understand the reason the Biblical words, “Today, if you will hear MY voice” are so important. Let these words transform you. The past and the future are swallowed up in MY presence. You are thinking these words are nothing new. The reason you are thinking this is because you are framing them and thus comparing them with what I have shown you in the past.

Is it really worth it to re-read those old memories? What Now?

I am sitting here realizing that I have nothing to say that doesn’t have historical context …which means that at some level there is resistance in me to the words I have just transcribed.

The choice is mine; do I proceed to stumble forward anyway? NO! Help me; I command the bright light of your presence to override both the conscious and subconscious that are contained in every cell of this body bag which I occupy.

…and I say to you now, that the words I have spoken to you are already past. My new words to you are relax and depend upon your continual command that what you are calling your conscious and subconscious are brought into the NOW of MY presence. As you allow this to be the only principle which guides you, you are free to enjoy and be grateful for all that happens because I AM truly with you always, just remember that “always” is NOW, not in the future or the past. Do not let knowledge and understanding impede your LIFE in I AM …NOW in this moment.

What could I possibly add to such powerful words? The answer I received, for me, is nothing …unless and until I receive more from I AM.
