LESSON TWENTY-TWO: “An Infinite Number”

Are there an infinite number of perspectives?

Not only are there an infinite number of ways to do anything, there are an infinite number of ways to look at anything so that you can see it from the INFINITE perspective.

You will not progress in the purpose you have chosen until you learn two seeming opposite views of the same thing. The best ideas of men have come when there were no solutions – it is where the term “the mother of invention is necessity came from.”

Man finds God when he has no other answers. Did man find God or invent God?

Hmmm, – and while I’d love to wrangle with the foregoing question, “did man find God, or invent God” …and are there other alternatives to either? Instead this came bursting into my consciousness with an insistence that the following is what I’m supposed to write about this a.m.

If you want a perfect man, you will have to make one.

To insist that Jesus was “the only perfect man” negates, for those who so insist, something he said. Before we quote what he said about his NOT being a “perfect man” let’s first underscore something else he said: “What is the point of calling me ‘Lord’ if you don’t do what I say?” …and after so stating, he went on to illustrate rather graphically that there was no point whatsoever!

If both thoughts expressed in the foregoing paragraph are true, where does that leave those who insist on the former and ignore the latter, yet refer to themselves as “followers of Jesus?”

It’s just a question, but let’s look at something else he said about those of us who are tempted to refer to ourselves as “believers” – “Any individual who believes enough will perform the same miracles you have seen me perform.” Then let’s look at this …which is an accurate translation from the original language: “When the Holy Spirit overtakes you, you will no longer be you …you will lose your identity and people will therefore no longer see you, but they will see me and witness you doing what I AM is doing through you.”

Now then, am I actually supposed to put this in this series, of what you are teaching me today NOW – particularly when it is so dramatically at variance with the traditionally accepted interpretation about “witnessing?”

You’ve stated it well …let those who are willing begin to stand up as the new creatures in Christ they are destined to be. I shall say it again, today, for all those wondering: “Why call me good, only ONE is good and that is not anyone insisting that what is contained in what you refer to the flesh as a “body bag.” Yes, proclaim this loudly and clearly until some finally get it and move on to their destiny of truly being ONE with I AM.”

Well now, I guess if what I have said and what Jesus has said are both views of the truth, shall we talk about it or just get on with being?

Several of you have written me related to the insertions of the offer I made in LESSON SEVENTEEN and then again in LESSON TWENTY and here, again: “I’m supposed to repeat the offer I made in LESSON SEVENTEEN. If you want me to share with you one of the mechanisms I use to get into the “zone” of hearing directly from what SPIRIT is saying through Jesus’ mouth, today (and how can I possibly say this – no wonder some people are not responding as much as usual) …write me, brad@spiritualhealingsource.com”

…and the response has been gratifying as well as the dialogue with so many of you – thanks, it has been encouraging.

I am being prompted to add this one, here and now, because it is core for me and I suggest it may help some of you; particularly if you tend to look at things a bit mystically and perhaps are waiting for SPIRIT to “just fall on you.” Ever since I stumbled onto the essence of what Jesus shared about his own mode of praying …that is, to command and demand what SPIRIT has already decreed to be HER/HIS/ITS purpose and desires for all of humanity to be brought into existence in the here and now of the physical realm …here’s what I do often when I sense a spiritual lethargy clouding my vision: “I want an ever-increasing sense of Your presence and power upon me …I want YOU.” I get off by myself and literally pound on the dashboard and yell these words until I sense the breakthrough of all resistance in me to receiving whatever our SPIRIT has for me in the NOW.

Is it possible that this simple command/demand has brought my conscious and subconscious into alignment with SPIRIT so that there is no longer an internal conflict? Is this for you? That’s not for me to say.

I do know that I’m to stop here for now. Thanks for “tuning in.”
