What Jesus Is Teaching me Today; …Right NOW (21)
LESSON TWENTY-ONE: “The Reason You Experience Limitations”
Stop limiting me to your experience of me. If you have learned nothing else from being “amazed,” “dazed,” “stunned” and, some of your other expressions of surprise at what you have been learning recently, is that I AM really all things to all the many who come to me in ways that meet their needs for that moment and which are different than your experience …NOW to learn from this stop arguing and just accept the differences.
For several years I have patted myself on the back for getting some of the morsels of truth I had stumbled upon in the New Testament, Qur’an, Vedic and other religious writings and which expanded my acceptance that Jesus was far more and much “bigger” than any of those who attach all sorts of labels to him, but miss what I felt was the biggest and most important scriptural morsel of all and that is, “Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.”
I am compelled, here, to provide some examples of the referenced “labels.” The example over which I have shaken my head in frustration the most is those who insist upon referring to Jesus as “God” and yet refuse to see him in the NOW of this very moment. Then there are those who call him the “Master Teacher” who ignore some of the most important (to me) things that came through his mouth which relate to the destiny of those of us who say we believe in him …whatever “believing in him” means to each of us individually.
What I’m being shown this morning is how I’m guilty of all sorts of limitations due to refusing the experiences of others as having anything from which I can learn.
Now that you seem to have digested that truth, move on. Stop limiting yourself to any preconceived idea that you have of ME. You learned fairly early on to call out to I AM and bypassing me which caused me no end of joy. Then you caught the essence of being “me” in the truest sense of my intention to break through any and every barrier which keeps men and women from experiencing I AM directly and knowing, not merely believing, that they are ONE with the SPIRIT who permeated their being. Who are you to look down upon your brothers and sisters who don’t understand what you are saying because you don’t love them enough break through their unconsciousness? Now that you are seeing your own level of unconsciousness perhaps you can die to any sense of pride you have of knowing what cannot be known in the sense of what the human mind has been led to believe about “knowing.”
Being duly and rightfully humbled (I realize that “duly” and “rightfully” may seem redundant, but not the way I’m using the words, so stop judging) …we’re going to leave it right here for now until I recover some of the old Brad Cullen hubris about knowing nothing and, therefore, being able to get to truth better than my brothers and sisters who know far more than I and how to articulate the truth they know in such learned ways which until now, I have spurned …WHAT NOW!???
That will have to be next . . .
In Freedom,
Brad
