What Jesus Is Teaching me Today; …Right NOW
LESSON NINETEEN: “What Does It Mean?”
What does it take to get your attention BRAD?
I was awakened at 12:45 a.m. with “what does it mean?” ringing incessantly in my ears. So, after about an hour of rehearsing the words with the brain of this body bag still in a deep blur, I finally got up and made a cup of green (no less) tea …and here I sit.
Daily I am queried with the words, “Dear Brad, what do you think about” any number of things and to which my invariable response, albeit in variable terms and emphasis is, WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE WHAT I THINK? Basically saying that what I think is useless, because what I think is whatever it means to me at that moment and which will probably mean something else tomorrow or next year.
One e-mail that came from somewhere within the United Kingdom yesterday was an excerpt doubtlessly copied off some “self-help guru’s” remedy posted somewhere or another. The sender said, Hi Brad, this is really working for me and I was wondering what you think about it?
Be careful what you discard, don't miss the value.
I responded that, what was important to me, was that it was working for him (period) …and was about ready to delete the e-mail and got a nudge to copy and send the “remedy” to a person going through some “stuff.” Then I deleted it, not because I didn’t think it had value, but because that was what I was directed to do.
What does this mean? It means that I do not necessarily discard, discount or denigrate anything without asking our (your and my) SPIRIT-PARENT how, what or if I should do anything with whatever. Consequently, readers from literally all around the world forward all kinds of different things that strike them as good or meaningful and wanting to know what I think. Now you know …most of the time I don’t think …I ask SPIRIT what to do with it.
The e-mail from the U.K. was from a relatively new respondent who claimed that something on the website had led to him being healed recently from a debilitating physical (and emotionally troubling) disorder. Apparently he gobbles up stuff from a lot of different sources and I’m glad that he landed on our site; as much as I appreciate the fact that our “audience” is growing, I rather like publisher, Ryan Bruce’s attitude toward it. He said, a few days ago: “I’d rather have a few hundred people coming to the website who have the ‘ears to hear’ than millions who don’t get it.”
We never get tired of saying; "Plug into the Source".
Now then, what is it that Ryan and I want, in fact, are committed to help people “get?” Go directly to the SOURCE of everything …HE/SHE/IT is available 24/7 to all those who pursue the REAL truth which is for them, NOW.
Many of the people who browse the website almost daily share what certain Brad Cullen articles or books have meant to them and share what “God” (bwoton) …oops, just in case you’re new, bwoton is not some ethereal name for that which is “above and beyond us all” – it is merely an acronym for BY WHATEVER OTHER TITLE OR NAME, has done for them that was triggered by something I had written.
Back to the name …you have your favorite, I have mine and it is all okay …the ONE they all reference isn’t worrying about the labels humans insist upon placing upon HIM/IT/SHE (in alphabetical order.
That’s it, isn’t it? What now?

This is interesting to me …I was just instructed to review LESSON ONE and copy the following from it:
Who am I, who are you? This is a universal lesson for everyone who has the ears to hear it; note that I did not say to you it is “universal truth,” for that can only be defined when everyone hears it as such. Rejected truth is not truth for the person who is rejecting it and that needn’t be hard to understand.
Who and what I, Jesus, am “really” is revealed to each one who comes to me earnestly in SPIRIT AND TRUTH.
That is the essence, not only of this first lesson, but this entire book. Will the real Jesus please stand up? I AM in and of every person who comes to me willing to leave their preconceived notions behind and drink of me and breathe of me and, thus, yes, BE me.
If the Jew who comes to me needs me to be “the Jewish Messiah,” I AM that. If the Christian who comes to me needs me to be the “only begotten Son of God,” I AM that. If the Muslim who comes to me needs me to be a brother prophet to my dearly beloved brother Muhammad, I AM that. To those, whatever they choose to call themselves, who come to me need me to be one of many “Ascended Masters,” I AM that and without further distinction.
Did I not die so that they all could live? Quibbling over their silly notions of who I “really” am is counter-productive to the purpose for which I entered this physical plane …that purpose was not to die, but to live in each and every one of you …to be you and for you to be me.
If you will digest this much you will understand and be changed by the lessons that follow. If you insist on arguing over distinctions related to your limited understanding you will make your learning difficult when it is my purpose to make it simple and easy.
On the pews, down the isle, Brad will dance anywhere Spirit says to dance!
Eat of me, drink of me, breathe my essence and be me. How do you do that? Come to me; no man can show you the way. Be the miracle …stop talking about miracles and begin NOW (being the miracle). Do it NOW, this moment, and never turn back.
I wanted to end this piece today with the foregoing because it is a bit much to “chew” for many folks, but I am compelled to share an experience I had as a guest speaker at a church near San Jose, California, twenty-six years ago. I had gotten down off the platform and was standing at the center row in front of the Sunday night crowd of over a thousand people …as you will surmise this church was of the Pentecostal or Charismatic (bwoton) variety … I remember, so clearly, as if it were right now (and it is) hearing in my ear: “Tell them they are in Bible bondage.” The voice was so loud I thought everyone could hear it. I turned to my right and saw a “prayer bench” – one of those things that are quite commonly found at the front of such churches for when the speaker gives an “altar call.”
If I let go of my bible will I be free?
“Stand on it” …were the very next words I heard. I climbed aboard, noticing with no little chagrin that it was highly polished and made from some obviously expensive wood. I learned what something meant, but I had not previously witnessed and had only read about with barely passing interest, that is, being “overtaken by Spirit in dance.” I remember (barely) facing the crowd and with my feet moving incredibly rapidly, yet at some sort of precise, rhythmic pace and yet able to speak with an utter calm and moderately pitched voice: “You are in Bible bondage, unless and until you know that I AM the Word of God which you think you worship by burying your heads in the Bible or other things written and quoting from them you will never know or experience living in My presence and power.”
Everything after that is blurred like I’ve been from not quite waking up for the last several minutes while typing this. I do remember the pastor of that church coming over to me when I stepped down off that prayer bench saying, “well this has been a happening.” He embraced me and looked down at the surface of the bench.
Someone is trying to break through to you!
“Folks,” he said, turning to face the congregation, “I have a confession, I was distracted and very concerned about what the leather soles of his shoes were doing to our prayer bench …if you don’t believe in miracles, please, when this service is over, please come and see for yourselves – especially you custodians who worry over such things – there is not a scratch or any evidence whatsoever that anything has touched it since it was last polished yesterday, as always, in preparation for our Sunday services.”
Now I am closing with this… I don’t know that I have ever shared this story before, but it is absolutely true and here’s the thing: I DIDN’T DO IT! I WAS OVERTAKEN BY OUR SPIRIT PARENT. The point of this series is not about something “I” did, the point is to escape from whatever bondage that is keeping you from hearing and operating from SPIRIT directly, just as so many of you who are in bondage to the past want to talk about what Jesus did, as opposed to knowing him in the present.
Telling this was not for any purpose of self-aggrandizement; this is about YOU and what and who you can be if you will breakthrough and forget “your” ministry (or lack thereof) and allow our SPIRIT-PARENT to live in and through you.
What does this all mean to you? Whatever it means to you is the truth from the meaning you place upon it …therefore, I say humbly, being careful how you judge it. I am compelled to urge you to ASK THE SOURCE (bwoton) “What should I do with it?”
