What Jesus Is Teaching me Today; …Right NOW (7)

How big do you make your obstacles? Here is one I put in my path.

LESSON SEVEN: “Don’t Put Obstacles In Your Own Path”

When you attempt to make hard and fast rules as I AM leads you to creatively handle one set of circumstances in one situation, you block being led in a very different situation by attempting to follow a principle which is not a universal principle, but merely a creative way to handle a previous challenge.

Brad’s immediate reflection: What I started to do with this brilliant, white-light bit of teaching opened my eyes to a mental proclivity that has often ruled me and kept me locked up in an intellectual prison of following what I was shown yesterday for yesterday and not living in the present moment – where I must be guided moment by moment. As soon as I received the foregoing words I started to make up a rule to dispense with all rules!  Jesus is showing me that CREATIVE INTELLIGENCE is something far different than I ever expected …always available, but I can immediately shut it off by focusing on anything brought to my conscious mind.

Don’t carry this to extremes either …there are many lessons you have learned in the past which you have had to repeat because you didn’t receive what I AM had to tell you …and therefore you forced yourself to repeat them. Because you are ONE with I AM, even the parts of you which do not seem to comprise human cognition contain all sorts of CREATIVE INTELLIGENCE of which you are totally unaware. This is why you grasped Solomon’s proverb early in your relationship and it has served you well to ignore the human need to understand.

Another Note:

Shortly after I made a conscious decision to tell Jesus to take over my life, I stumbled across Proverbs 3: 5, 6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” I made a firm declaration that this would be the verse that would guide my life. It still does and I don’t try to understand anything with the cognitive part of me – I say “what now,” and wait for direction. It is how I knew what to write this morning.

In Freedom,

Brad
