Noxious Weeds
Brad receives between 30 and 100 emails a day. Many become inspiration for these articles.
I’m using the following e-mail (slightly edited) by permission including the edits.
Hi Brad,
Congratulations on the publishing of your new book! I found portions of The Fourth Dimension actually put me at some of the scenes in this wonderful book.
For years I’ve shared with others that my feeling as to why, when we do everything “right” and yet we see little or no results, was that there are noxious weeds growing in the subconscious.
As you know quite well, just because we are not conscious of any problems it doesn’t necessarily mean there aren’t any.
I am no exception to this and, as a matter of fact, I think it’s probably a universal problem.
I’m looking forward to reading The 4th Dimension again and again.

Ron wrote an “afterword” to The 4th Dimension (his brother Gary wrote the foreword).
I received another e-mail to which I responded that “I didn’t want to seem contrary …but” – well, here’s the “offending” e-mail and my “contrary” response:

~DEATH~ WHAT A WONDERFUL WAY TO EXPLAIN IT …
A sick man turned to his doctor as he was preparing to leave the examination room and said,’Doctor, I am afraid to die. Tell me what lies on the other side.’
Very quietly, the doctor said, ‘I don’t know..’
‘You don’t know? You’re, a Christian man, and don’t know what’s on the other side?’
The doctor was holding the handle of the door; On the other side came a sound of scratching and whining, and as he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness.
Turning to the patient, the doctor said, ‘Did you notice my dog? He’s never been in this room before. He didn’t know what was inside. He knew nothing except that his master was here, and when the door opened, he sprang in without fear.
I know little of what is on the other side of death, but I do know one thing…
I know my Master is there and that is enough.
Should Jesus have been more clear? Is there another way to say "Abolish Death"?
My response was simply that it was a beautiful expression of the LIFE that awaits anyone right this moment who will open the door to it.
One of the things that struck me years ago came through the mouth of Jesus – had come to abolish death. Why this message from our SPIRIT-PARENT is ignored or even contradicted by much of Christianity, to the point of beautiful funerals and other such glorifying of the enemy of LIFE.
Before I carry this diatribe any further, let me quote from one of my own recent articles denouncing my tendency to want to argue with something – then (grin) I’ll come back to my argument.
Sometimes I think that those of us who are prepossessed to disseminate the truth (as we are given to see it) get so caught up in our perceived need to correct the errors of others that we never get to the truth that is there for us – through them, errors and all. I confess, GUILTY AS CHARGED!
Learning to apply the word “perspective” in this milieu has been a huge aid to help me resist my own proclivity to be negative to what somebody else is saying about what they are seeing, hearing and experiencing. I have learned to phrase it thusly: “They are looking at a view from the top floor of a tall building in the center of a huge city and describing what they are seeing from a window on the south side of the building.”
Just open up and connect, Spirit is everywhere you are.
The reason I cannot “connect” with what they are describing is that I am looking at the same city from the same floor, but through a window on the east side of the very same building. Even though I often “connect” (spiritually) with those who use a different dialect of Christianspeak than I …I have to temper any reaction by asking what if anything I am to say in response.
I am guided by my own traditions, one of which is to grasp tightly onto the words, “What’s that to you, you come follow me.” This tradition helps me stop and realize that I have no business correcting somebody who is working on a different side of the street under the direction of the same Master.
What has helped me in this, is the vision I was given that showed me how “God” (By Whatever Other Title Or Name – acronym = BWOTON) sees the entire 360 degree view and has no need to engage in a discussion of puny views from any side of the building …over which we may be arguing or even calmly discussing.
In practical terms, two people can be seeing and sharing truth and disagreeing totally, even to the point of animosity over something that is purely and simply a different view.
Sometimes it comes this way, sometimes it's quiet. Expect the answer.
So, back to my hair splitting “puny view” argument… Am I really supposed to be writing this? (the question is a form of my infamous, “what now?”
The “YES” is so definitive that it matches the intensity of a close lightning strike accompanied by an immediate clap of thunder. I know better than to ask “why” …that is immaterial. I am not only to write this, but to offer a “way out” to those who request it.
A way out of what?
What started me down this path was Ron Sigler’s “noxious weeds in the subconscious.” We have been fed the bull that there is no “escaping death and taxes” for so long that it has been firmly planted in the subconscious parts of our brains.
There is no beauty here, and it really is Abolished.
There is nothing beautiful about death. There is nothing beautiful about insisting that it is the only portal through which we can have eternal life either. The term eternal life means that LIFE which has no beginning and no ending. It refers to entering a pathway governed in a beautiful, intimate relationship with our (your and my) SPIRIT-PARENT beginning right NOW.
That any of us may die is a reasonable given – and the scriptural “Death where is thy sting” applies and there is certainly no reason or need to detract from the “beautiful” message of the Master being on the other side.
Now then, I have an offer: For anyone who would like a proven and powerful method that will get rid of the noxious weeds that are choking out the message of LIFE, NOW, (rather than death) write me. I’ll share one of the weeding “tools” I’ve been given.
