The challenge with some of the terms any of us toss out, to make some point or another, is they so rarely convey an author’s intent.

“I have noticed that you are inconsistent.” This was the opening sentence of a rather long e-mail from a woman in Alberta, Canada.

She went on to point out the necessity for consistency “because,” she said, “If the Bible is nothing else, it is consistent.”

I did thank her for her comments – and felt obliged (after demanding clarity as to what my response should be) to end my response, thusly: “Regarding the sentence with which you began your e-mail, i.e., ‘I have noticed that you are inconsistent.’  I CERTAINLY HOPE SO!”

One of the major reasons (albeit after the fact) for my leaving organized Christianity is the insistence and, what seems to me, a desperate emotional need to have the Bible “consistent” …consistent with what?

Here is a quote from the Bible (no less): “As the Holy Spirit says, ‘today, if you will hear His voice,’ and not harden your hearts as it was in the rebellion…”

It seems the Romans knew what to do with those rebellious Christians.

Also, Jesus’ remarks: “You pore over and handle the Scriptures because you think that they will give you eternal life; when all the time they point to me, but you refuse to come to me so that you can receive that LIFE.”

Here is a reminder that, at least occasionally, I am consistent – I have consistently referred to organized Christianity as the “great rebellion” for its deliberate, if ignorant, refusal to pay attention to some of the things Jesus said particularly the quote in the foregoing paragraph.

Back to the quote, which doesn’t say if you read your Bible every day – but rather and, again, “The Holy Spirit says, ‘TODAY, IF YOU WILL HEAR HIS VOICE’(!)”

The theme was apparently important to the author because it was repeated three times over the course of two chapters.

I did point out to the woman from Alberta that the only consistency with which I am concerned is getting clarity from our SPIRIT-PARENT about what to do right NOW, TODAY. This always breeds HOLY inconsistency.

I have consistently said something for many, many years and that is, “what I believe today will not necessarily, and probably won’t be, what I believe tomorrow.” That’s the 4^th Dimension (as I’m using the term), but almost certainly viewed in the 3^rd dimension as gross inconsistency.

For some death and dullness are fullfiled in this blog....

I feel like ending this, fun-for-me trip, which has already ended yet is always beginning, into what I am calling the 4^th Dimension (another sign of my consistency is my redundancy -surely you’ll notice the quotation marks – “what I’m calling,” over and over again) …and I’ve just been reminded that there is no ending, it is always, “to be continued.”

Hearing the voice of our SPIRIT-PARENT, which is the essence of bringing into effect 4^th Dimension power, for overcoming the arena of death and dullness of the 3^rd Dimension, is always on the basis of, “to be continued” in the NOW, and not trying to eat the manna of yesterday; whether it is the manna I received directly or that which I received through others.

I remember somebody once referred to this process of reading what somewhat else gets from SPIRIT as eating regurgitated, or “already chewed” baby food.

Isn’t it okay to re-read passages from the Bible or even one of my old books? Well, the point of all of this is: Go directly and “hear His Voice” for the specific answer to that one. I am often directed to re-read stuff I’ve written in the past. I am also often directed to re-read what others believe is “sacred writ.”

Hopefully, the consistency anyone gets from me is this: Our SPIRIT-PARENT is available 24/7 and will be the personal guide into the 4^th Dimension for anyone who persistently and impudently pursues HER/HIM/IT UNTIL the connection translates from the reality of its existence in the 4^th Dimension into the physical trappings “illusion” of the 3^rd dimension.

Don't be so shocked, some of your religious practices are just as offensive.

I have yet to meet the person who has told me that what I’ve said “doesn’t work” who doesn’t also admit, after some inquiry …that, rather than following anything they thought may come from me, they were actually practicing old religious habits that were getting them nowhere …and with a little prodding tried again, with marvelous results.

Practicing error is just a bit of worthless consistency …that is, it just more deeply buries us in the same error …is not this “the baloney of consistency?”

How can we tell error from truth? Ah hah! …More consistency, keep on knocking and demanding to break through into that place of hearing, DON’T STOP UNTIL we know we have clarity.

This theme is to be continued …and yes, that will be “NOW” and “then,” in chapter thirty-one. Hurry back, after getting the clarity that you are supposed to. If our SPIRIT-PARENT leads you elsewhere – that is what “to be continued” is for you.

I was just reminded of another e-mail I received in the last several hours, one to which Ryan and I both shouted “hallelujahs” over: A brother commented about a recent article and to which I responded that it was good to hear from him …with a casual reminder that we hadn’t heard from him for some time. He answered: “I don’t need you any longer, LOL.”

Well, folks, nobody needs me now, but it sure is gratifying to see evidence of being used by our SPIRIT-PARENT on occasion …and I sure appreciate that you continue riding along when you’re doing so in 4^th Dimension style, which is, listening, hearing and sharing what you are getting from our SPIRIT-PARENT.
