The 4th Dimension, What If? (Chapter Sixteen)
What if this one thing Jesus said is true; that is, what if nothing really is impossible for any individual who believes enough?
How might that change your world? Wouldn’t that land you smack dab in the middle of the 4th Dimension (as I’m using the term)?
What, just as one example, if the speed of light isn’t the absolute speed limit governing the universe? That one has been rattling around in my head for months …ever since Ryan Bruce recorded a phone conversation we had about my article that contained the whacky theory that spirit-agents might well ride around the universe on neutrinos. Go to the top menu bar, far right and type in “neutrinos” and press enter “A Mystery Solved” will come up – click on it, please read the article and listen to the two referenced podcasts at the bottom.
Now it seems that recent (just within 24 hours of this writing) tests confirm what several renowned physicists have been betting on, that is, neutrinos do, in fact, move at speeds faster than the speed of light.
Why this bothers many scientists has to do with proving that Einstein may have been wrong about this one factor, that is …not everything is governed by the speed of light. So what? Back to the question at the top, folks …what if what Jesus said about nothing being impossible for those who believe enough is really true?
For several years I have been beating on the drum of believing enough and driving publisher Ryan Bruce crazy because I refuse to move off using one very significant (to me) bit of information about a simple step to help those who need a boost in being able to increase their capacity to believe. Before I repeat it again, let’s just underscore the reason that some scientists are all befuddled over the possibility that Al Einstein’s theory which has stood unchallenged for a century has come up short, at least from one perspective.
Again, one of the tenets of the Theory of Relativity – which I love to say was what opened the door to our modern-day version of the “big bang” which previous to Al’s ground breaking theory was deemed impossible and therefore the reason it took so many scientists so long to accept it: THEY DIDN’T BELIEVE IT WAS POSSIBLE (to “split” an atom).
There are so many laws of physics that hinge upon the “absolute” of the “speed of light,” that science is simply not ready yet to even consider some of the far-reaching implications caused by another darling scientific “impossibility” being shattered.
Remember me? I don’t know squat! Half of the things people refuse to believe are being scientifically proven to be true. Now then, I will repeat my favorite which really can help some of you to stop being bogged down in unbelief, if you will simply look at it from a different perspective.
Here we go again …the year was 1953. Everyone knew that it was impossible for any human being to run a mile in under four minutes. Everyone knew this, because nobody had ever done it in recorded history. Think on that for a minute, while I gloat.
Along comes Roger Bannister in May of 1954 and did it. Since then thousands of runners have also done it. Hundreds of competitive runners now do it EVERY YEAR. Why? Because they believe it can be done, because one man already did it.
The thing that holds so many SO-CALLED “believers” (a euphemism for “Christians”) in the chains of abject unbelief is they don’t qualify for doing what Jesus said any individual who believes enough could both be and do. What on earth is that?
Be Jesus and do what he did while walking around on this planet as a man. This wouldn’t be half as hard to accept as a possibility for those who insist upon saying that they don’t and won’t believe it — if they would just stop saying that and begin saying “take away my unbelief!” – And keep on saying it until it is replaced by the belief that NOTHING is impossible.
That takes a giant step into the 4th Dimension, where all the idiotic, supposedly impossible keeps getting proved possible. Quit waiting for science to catch up – get on board because in chapter 17 we’re gonna take a trip …get ready! C’mon, do your part. Start saying, “I want to believe …help me!” – and keep on saying it until you do!
