The 4th Dimension, Here We Go Again…(Chapter Fifteen)
Where are we going and how are we going to get there? Here comes a bit of redundancy and review …and, well, you gotta start somewhere, right?
Let’s get something else out of the way: Here’s Brad Cullen, who refuses to be called a Christian; and using something Jesus said, again, as a reference point. Why does either (the refusal or the reference) have any importance related to what I’m calling the 4th Dimension?
There are certain things that Jesus said which are central to my life and to my purpose. It also seems to me that much of what Jesus says not to do is practiced by Christianity in general, thereby missing his core message.
Christians, particularly, think the great hope is “going to heaven” after they experience physical death. There is a far grander truth to know and explore.
Jesus said two things that would tend to negate the “great hope” and draw the curtains open to the vista of the “grander view.”
The first we might want to catch is that Jesus said death is abolished entirely. That one is represented by: “Anyone who believes in me will never die.” Scratch very deeply below the surface of a graduate of Seminary and you’ll hear that Jesus wasn’t referring to physical death.
The second: “Don’t look here or there for the kingdom of heaven …for it is within you.”
If you have a hard time putting your “head around” those two, think about the following one …again, out of the mouth of Jesus: “Nothing will be impossible to any individual who believes enough.”
As I’ve said before, the words, “Eternal Life,” are translated from a term in the original language that clearly and literally refers to a parallel existence that is ongoing this very moment …right NOW.
Scientific experiments have proven the existence of such a place; to which we don’t “go,” that is, travel to the 4th Dimension; in fact, “travel” is a 3rd Dimension term. Some mystic types refer to inter-dimension transfer as “translating.” If we have, thus far, refused to consider the reality, or at least the possible reality of a parallel existence, whether we call it “4th Dimension,” “kingdom of heaven,” or “eternal life,” (to me all three are interchangeable) we have relegated ourselves to the death and dying world of the physical senses.
The guy that wrote much of the Christian New Testament said, “I thank God there is a way out through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Was he really talking about escaping the 3rd dimension? Well, it would be a stretch to say exactly that, but from one perspective that is what he was saying and in context.
The guy, Saul-become-Paul, was lamenting about being in slavery to “sin” – “Why am I always doing what I don’t want to do and never able to do what I want to do?” is what he said and the context… now go back to the quote – “I thank God there is a way out…”
What better way to underscore the victim mentality of being trapped in this 3rd Dimension.
I feel a strong, almost overpowering unction – not from a religious wand waving over me, but directly from our SPIRIT-PARENT, to stay with the anointing I’ve been given directly.
I know of no other way to achieve what I call the right-thinking that gets me out of the curse of sickness, “sin” (this latter word meaning nothing more and nothing less than missing the SOURCE) and death than the one prayer Jesus taught about in his story of the two men who went up to the Temple to pray.
You remember it, one guy was very religious and straight laced, didn’t lie, didn’t steal or cheat in any of his business affairs; gave ten percent of everything he had to charity and went without food twice each week. He stood there thanking God for making him better than other men, but particularly better than the guy who was standing nearby.
This other guy was a sinner of huge proportions. He was so bad he not only didn’t lift his head, but he stood there beating on his chest, crying out, “God be merciful unto such a sinner as I.”
The part of the story that should boggle our minds is what Jesus said about this latter guy:
Jesus said that he was the one who went home righteous in God’s sight INSTEAD of the other one who looked so pure and right in the eyes of men. This story had a strong impact on me and I knew I was supposed to share it with others and that I was supposed to point out the fact that churches had a wrong focus when attempting to set a standard of behavior that supposedly makes somebody righteous. According to Jesus, there is no such behavior that makes us right with God.
So then, what does this have to do with the 4th Dimension? Just this: It is my entryway and I have nothing else to offer anyone. This morning as I was asking our SPIRIT-PARENT, “what now?” and feeling quite distant from being able to write anything of value …what I heard was not to forget my anointing.
That is my anointing and I sit here with a smile on my face knowing that my thinking is straight (“righteous”) for the task ahead of me. This chapter is finished,
