The 4^th Dimension…Already?!?

Chapter Twelve

What we often fail to keep in mind is that living in the realm of NOW, “Eternal Life” – “4^th Dimension,” …it’s not a matter of surprise that something came to pass so quickly, but training our brains to expect it to manifest in the 3^rd Dimension because it ALREADY exists in the 4th.

…and, here we go again; Dear friend, publisher, fellow traveler and brother, Ryan Bruce, chides me for using the following as an example much too frequently, but here goes (sigh) again:

The primary obstacle to living continually, right NOW, in the “kingdom of Heaven” about which Jesus said, “Don’t look here or there, for it exists within you,” and which I am calling, at least partly, the “4^th Dimension,” is our refusal to take the steps necessary to begin believing enough.

Here is the example Ryan keeps urging me to replace; maybe I will later, but right now it is important to our understanding to keep remembering it: Until May 6^th 1954 almost everyone refused to believe it was possible for a human being to run a mile in under 4 minutes.

Shortly thereafter, thousands of converts ran a sub 4 minute mile. Praising the name of Robert Christ as they crossed the finish line.

Amid the groans of, “oh that one again” …yes that one again; why did almost everyone think it wasn’t possible? Because nobody in recorded history had ever done it before, that’s why.

Since Bannister finally did it, literally thousands of runners have followed suit and many more do it every year. Why are so many people able to do it now but NONE before Bannister’s achievement went into the record books? Because now everyone knows it is possible, that’s why.

Think about it prior to 1954 nobody in recorded history – converted to thousands proving it is possible and millions believing that it is possible.

One of my all time favorite quotes of Jesus’ is, “Nothing is impossible for anyone who believes enough” …and more redundancy is, my continual add-on, “the operative word here is enough.”

Okay, Ryan, here’s a different twist on the same old story; it’s the quote of Roger that Sports Illustrated carried:

“There is no fuss and fanfare about Bannister. When he was asked to explain that first four-minute mile—and the art of record breaking—he answered with original directness: ‘It’s the ability to take more out of yourself than you’ve got.’”

Sometimes they call "making more out of yourself than you've got "BLUFFING".

We could say that step number one to acquiring enough belief, therefore, is simply realizing that the only way you can take more out of yourself than what you’ve got is to realize that you have the SOURCE of everything outside “yourself,” yet which is ever ready to live within you and be you …and is, in 4^th dimension-terms-fact, already there.

Here’s the crux of the 4^th dimension: Everything that should exist …already exists. Like it or not …and the essence of the true story of Roger Bannister and the real promise of Jesus’ “NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ANYONE WHO BELIEVES ENOUGH.”

The truth is – that saying, “I just don’t believe it,” is neither the first step to believing anything nor is it the first step to realizing Roger Bannister’s “ability to take more out of yourself than what you’ve got.”

Being stuck in, “I just don’t believe it” is the biggest obstacle to experiencing LIFE in the 4^th Dimension.

What do you mean you don't believe it, the hat is real velvet!

I’m not saying that you have to believe the way I believe …because the way I believe may not be right for you, but here’s a challenge: In much the same way that scientists have proven the 4^th dimension (bwoton) exists, over the eighty years of living in this body-bag, I have proven a number of things to my satisfaction, by trial and error and, to be sure, with many more failures to count for it than successes.

Yet I’ve seen people with all kinds of incurable diseases pronounced “terminal” by physicians with a variety of letters after their names “cured” and living excitedly to prove the second and third opinions wrong – the first step?

…Believing in the possibility.

Just come that far with me.

Next up: how to get over unbelief so you can enter the 4^th Dimension, particularly realizing that you don’t have to believe anything, it really is up to you.
