Chapter Seven
Here we will hopefully begin to understand the seat of the ego, the basis of our learning and knowledge, which we have acquired in the 3rd dimension and which keeps us from “moving” about at beyond the speed of light that is possible merely by becoming aware of 4th dimension “reality” (virtual or otherwise).
Are we ready? The first thing I am supposed to disclose is that I don’t have a clue what the foregoing paragraph means so that I can articulate it in typical 3rd dimension terminology. It was flying blind to the max which is not controlled by the conscious mind.
Bridge number one, therefore, to the 4th dimension is the unconscious or subconscious (whichever you prefer), in fact, even “super-conscious” works just as long as we don’t get hung up in all the learned, psycho babble, Freudian and anti-Freudian stuff that goes along with it.
The ego, as I am defining it is our primary obstacle to 4th dimension living. The ego is that part of us which basically insists on knowing and understanding anything (and therefore making ridiculous states such as “I know what I know.”
The main bridge into 4th dimension empowerment is, “I don’t know squat.” We’ll look at the primary reason this is true just a little later. The ego resides in the conscious mind. It is absent in the subconscious.

Get ready for a seemingly arrogant, Brad Cullen slam. That sounds full of ego unless you focus on the fact that “Brad Cullen” is a pseudonym used to get “me” in the back seat with a blind-fold on and thus “flying blind” and that merely as a hapless passenger.
Prophecy flows effortlessly out of Brad Cullen’s mouth, because Brad Cullen is a virtual character with his roots deeply buried in fiction. He can neither be blamed nor can he be given credit for anything. Brad is a neat dude, right smack dab out of the novel “I” wrote. He took-over there, he takes-over here.
A brief note most of you know already, if you’ve spent any time reading previous writings or those more current on the www.spiritualhealingsource.com website: I began this phase of “my” writing career, that is, via “Brad Cullen” due to the fact that “I” knew what I was writing, including much of the deeply spiritual truths in Leapfrog (the above referenced novel) were “way over my head.” This is not false humility, this is the truth.
In the late 1990s there was a legal/political storm which was about to unleash some very crushing blows to the reputation of the “real me.” Since I didn’t want it or the evidence of so much more of the mismanagement of several areas of my life, such as business and marital failures, that were sure to come out …of which I must and do take complete responsibility; and the accompanying embarrassment (more ego) to detract from the message “I” was connecting with from the SOURCE; I began writing a series of things anonymously – one of which was Leapfrog.

In Leapfrog “Brad Cullen” emerged as tall, slender, handsome, highly intelligent, articulate, very successful, likeable and, above all, humble. He was charismatic to the max and he and his close associates knew and operated in some very powerful SPIRIT-PARENT endued “supernatural” healing and other “miracles.”
Rather than be anonymous, I fell in love with the persona of “Brad” and began to wear the name as a complete costume for writing purposes. On the current website for which I write and the other Internet venues I always put up a “The Real Author” so that there is no doubt about why I have hidden behind either “Brad” or anonymous.
At times I have either wanted to actually change my name to Brad Cullen, or quit “hiding” behind him …more ego-stuff and “I” am being directed to continue stumbling along behind a pen name and “flying blind.”
People who know the “real me,” but admire “Brad Cullen” sometimes seem bewildered and at a loss as to how to address me. What difference does it make? None – it doesn’t matter. Much of what “I” wrote in Leapfrog was based on “my” own experience(s) or those of others whom I knew personally …it was fiction only as to geographic locations and characters that were imaginary, as well as contrived situations; otherwise completely and fully true.
Now that we’ve chewed up so much space with a disclaimer, which some, including me, will write off to a huge display of ego attempting to masquerade as humility; but then “Brad Cullen” is virtual and easy to forgive …so let’s do so and move on, shall we?
I just went back and looked at the departure point. I was about to unveil the “slam” …so here, now, hear this:
A purely ego-based statement out of the mouths of those who have some taste of operating in charismata …one dictionary definition of which is: noun pl Christian Theol. a divinely inspired gift, grace, or talent, as for prophesying, healing, etc. is the almost universal; “I know what I know.”
I am totally sympathetic to those who feel the need to emphasize that their understanding was acquired through Spirit-derived miracles because I certainly engaged in such “I know that I know,” but what has been revealed to me rather forcefully is that all things derived from the SOURCE remain there, that is, with the SOURCE or, what/whom I also refer to as our SPIRIT-PARENT …meaning, and back to, “I don’t know squat.”
This is also the essence of what Jesus said repeatedly, that is, “the works you have seen me do and the words you’ve heard me speak are not mine, no! These are my Father’s words and works and I only do what I see Him doing.”
Do you know, really know? or have you been told?
Yesterday’s manna, no matter how tasty or profound, has nothing to offer. “I know what I know” is plain and utter ignorance because it is based in experiences from the past.
As we have been discovering of late, so much of “proven scientific knowledge” is being superseded by new discovery which renders previously thought “truth” not simply worth little, but rather patently FALSE!
Why is this so difficult to remember? We needn’t remember it; our need is to move into the reality of the 4th dimension. In order to help us we will begin to explore some ways to engage the ego-less and powerful sub- (or whatever other qualifying prefix to) -conscious mind.
