The 4th Dimension, Its Significance and Essence (Chapter Five)
The 4th Dimension, Its Significance and Essence
Chapter Five
I “knew” that chapter five would be revelatory, but I had no idea why or how, but I’m being shown this moment that the importance of this chapter is that it will demonstrate the link between the 3rd and 4th dimensions which is important …and the “significance and essence,” the words with which I awakened two hours ago relate to the number 5 which is the link. Huh?
I AM to write: The reason we decide to do anything is never the reason for the decision in the 4th dimension. Another big, “Huh?”
I had been invited to participate in a conference call, last night, during which I felt a need to reiterate something I quote often: “I don’t know squat.” The quote is from a professional astronomer who put on a slide presentation of some rather spectacular photographs of distant galaxies newly discovered by the recently repaired Hubble space telescope.
I’ve just been shown that the reason I felt the need was because I forgot all about being in the 4th dimension, in which I AM connected to the SOURCE of everything.
Now, I don’t remember exactly why the astronomer said, “I don’t know squat,” but the significance and the essence of his comment, for me, was that scientists who have depended upon astronomy were dumbfounded by the discovery and study of these discoveries …BECAUSE THEY PROVE THAT THEIR FORMER THEORIES ABOUT THE ORIGIN OF THE UNIVERSE, derived from astronomical findings over the last century, ARE WRONG!
This was a humble admission from a man in his seventies who continues to work at some well-known observatory in California; the name of which escapes me at the moment.
He has worked as a professional astronomer for fifty years. He would continually refer back to the slide that had bold, white uppercase letters on a black background, WE DON’T KNOW SQUAT!
I saw that presentation and met the man in mid 2008 so it’s been a little over three years ago –as of this writing– and has obviously had a lasting impact upon me.
“Many scientists and I’m included in the many,” he said earnestly, “are turning to the possibility that God not only exists, but didn’t use a ‘big bang’ with which to form this universe of ours.”
I just now lifted the following quote off this website,
http://hubblesite.org/hubble_discoveries/breakthroughs/:
Orbiting the Earth for over two decades, Hubble has helped to answer some of the most compelling astronomical questions of our time – and uncovered mysteries we never knew existed. Investigating everything from black holes to planets around other stars, Hubble has changed the face of astronomy, ushering in a new chapter of humanity’s exploration of the universe.
I can stop trying to remember anything and suggest you wander around this fascinating website to see why so many scientists have become a bit religious in their leanings …at least to the point that this astronomer had reached.
When I informally interviewed him after the presentation, I asked him if he would mind sharing his newly found “religious leanings” –
“Not at all, for the better part of 55 years I have been affirming that I am an agnostic, in the purest form, that is, there is no way to know there is a God. Five years ago, with my firm belief in the ‘big bang’ being shattered, I began searching and that search led me to becoming an adherent of Latter Day Saints, I’m now a Mormon.”
“Interesting,” I intoned, “While I am not a Mormon, I am very sympathetic to many LDS doctrines, which to me are inescapable conclusions. Tell me, if you don’t mind, what was it that attracted you to Mormonism?”
His response “blew me away.”
“It’s funny you should ask that in that particular way,” he paused and looked off to the side and upward, obviously trying to process a memory. “A couple of young Mormon missionaries, the types I have avoided for years, challenged me to simply ask God if I should become a Mormon and take it from there. I did and experienced the presence of God.”
The reason that response “blew me away” is in my previous book, The Unrecognized You Discovered, I shared a similar experience …my experience was being told “no” (not to become a Mormon), but also not to make judgments about any religion. I shared the experience with him and, as often happens, his reaction was overwhelmingly pleasant.
“What a wonderful story. I’m going to share that with my wife, who has been very resistant to my becoming a Mormon; she is a nominal Christian and has bought into the notion that Mormonism is a cult.”
I replied, “Well, sharing that story with some Christians results in them having an increased suspicion of me …I will tell you that from my experience of being instructed not to judge any religion, I decidedly don’t think LDS is a cult, but I suppose that’s a judgment.”
I concluded by saying, “I do tend to think some forms of Christianity as cultic, and I suppose that is judging as well.”
“Well, brother,” he replied, “you are on an interesting path, but one that will ultimately lead you to wherever and whatever God has intended for you.”
I most certainly did not think that chapter five was going to lead to telling an old, but true story, but as the sub-title of “Unrecognized You” says, What Now?
As you most likely remember, I “signed off” chapter four with: “It is flooding over me; Chapter 5 will be a startling revelation. Okay, then …I can wait. Thank You Daddy!”
It’s time: What’s so startling, Daddy?
So, I’m waiting and realize maybe I ought to check my e-mail – yep, this one qualifies for me as being very startling. I’ve added some yellow highlight on some things that I thought were interesting correlations to what I’ve been saying, without any prior study or knowledge; and that I want to include in later parts of the series and book. The author’s use of the word “soul” and other linguistic differences caused me to stumble a couple of times – but I’m seeing this is an advantage because I wound up having to read it over and over to “get it.”
Hey Brad,
I learned the physics term “simultaneity” from you in an article not too long ago – now I get this draft of part one of the 4th dimension from you – right after I had downloaded “How do you “raise” your consciousness” from another site. Your articles continue to be very good and thanks for including me, but how is this for an example of “simultaneity”?
Your friend, Bob L.
The following are excerpts from the article he attached without title or other evidence as to its origin, except the author does make reference to students at a particular university …perhaps he or she is a professor or teacher of some sort?
Does raising your consciousness come as a result of seeking the “highest” within yourself? Is the highest within you a spot just beneath the top of your skull? Or does raising your consciousness actually have something to do with changing the quality of consciousness, the pattern of your experience? Indeed, it does, and this change in quality involves a shift in the fourth dimension, not the third.
Many people still talk about “having” a soul, as if it were something they wore around their neck, or that was lodged in some portion of their brain. It is more important to imagine that we are souls. It is difficult, but necessary, to imagine that our bodies are the portion of the soul that exists in the three dimensional world and is visible to the senses. I regularly ask Atlantic University students to draw diagrams of this proposition and they are typically perplexed at the assignment.
Physical awareness is three-dimensional, soul awareness is of the fourth dimension. Three-dimensional awareness has the basic qualities of time, space and matter. These qualities create the experiences of separation, death and mass. Fourth dimensional awareness, on the other hand, has the basic qualities of timelessness, spacelessness and energy. The emotion of fear and a fixation on external circumstance are symptoms of attachment to the 3-D world. Love is an expression of the fourth, a shared awareness with all energy forms of our essential unity. Intention is the secret of navigating in this realm.

Okay, I just read over this entire chapter, including the above brief excerpts and several things stand out to me now, in both, as being revelatory and startling. I sense that when we come back, in chapter six, I am going to want to look at what the guy said as “our soul’s intention” as it relates to what I’m seeing and learning about the 4th dimension.
But, per usual, I will be asking Dad, “What now?” …and who knows where that will take us – See you then
