Is Anything Impossible?

“That’s Impossible”

From an e-mail this morning:

“I’ve been listening to all of your podcasts over the last almost three weeks and I think I finally get it. Quite frankly, when I was first referred to your website by my good friend Gary Sigler I found myself wondering why you were writing things that would make people speak and think that what you were saying is impossible – then I finally heard in my spirit a recurring theme you write, that Jesus said nothing is impossible if you believe enough.

“Two things came out of that, first I realized I simply didn’t believe enough; second, I asked how I could increase my belief and felt a leading to tune into your podcast at the end of yet another controversial blog you wrote tagged, does God love gay people. I thought you were nuts until I listened to Ryan Bruce and you talk about it… which dragged me all the way back to listening to all of your podcasts from #1onward, you guys just get progressively better and that tells me increasing and “you” are decreasing. Please keep up the good work – of letting HIM magnify himself in you.”

Not the most perfect vessel but what's inside is AMAZING!

Which only proves the SOURCE of believing enough – it has been an amazing day for e-mail …people (plural) lauding me for writing Treasure Chest, for example, and other stuff which could have a tendency to “puff me up” and here is what brings me back to reality in a paragraph from the, “about the author” foreword, in Treasure Chest –

“Freedom comes from understanding at my depths that the body I occupy is capable of doing all kinds of nonsense …and is the chief of screw-ups. The real “I,” however, is served best by the awareness of Christ within and letting him do the talking, acting and in this case the writing.

“Be careful, therefore, about the things you may wish to either praise or criticize that I do… before there was anything else… I AM …And the point of continuing to use my pseudonym, Brad Cullen.”

What has come so vividly and forcefully into my consciousness this morning is that “belief” and “faith” are simply the result of being connected to our SPIRIT-PARENT SOURCE, whom I have the freedom to refer to as “Daddy” and I’m just very quick to say that you are free to put whatever label the same SOURCE, by whatever title or name, gives you to call HER/HIM/IT – Jesus did say, after all, that there is no gender in the kingdom and that the SOURCE is a Spirit and must be worshipped in spirit and in truth – so “Daddy” just demonstrates my own religious proclivities …sorry about that.

Here I come Mommy/Daddy!!! Get Ready!!! Wheeeee!

One of the comments about Treasure Chest this a.m. had to do with the fact that my explanation of Jesus using a very intimate name in the Aramaic language which can only be reasonably translated into English as “Mommy” or “Daddy” and, therefore, “Father” is far too austere to adequately convey what Jesus was introducing with the metaphor of approaching God as a little child and that this section changed this person’s view that she had had that I was being much too “casual” in my relationship to God.

From my, albeit limited, perspective it isn’t important what you call the SOURCE, but rather that you continue to pursue our SPIRIT-PARENT until you breakthrough into the relationship of knowing there is a connection and that you have begun to live in the presence and power of the SOURCE and come to the full realization that there is no human “ministry” which has any value, only the SOURCE’s ministry through us, both individual and collective.

That’s all I have to say today!

In Freedom,

Brad
