(10) IN THE BEGINNING

Who is Jeanne Stockwell?

SECTION TWO

The Return of Jeanne Stockwell

INTRODUCTION

I am asked quite often if the original Leapfrog is “real” or fiction. It is both, that is, everything in it actually happened, but I took all kinds of fictional liberties as to geography, characters and so on.

The most liberal work of fiction is any relationship of the author to the character Brad Cullen. I am not he and he is not I. Fiction is a wonderful way to disseminate historical fact and spiritual truth in a cloak of “adjustable reality” …you know, it very well could have happened this way even if that’s not quite the way it actually happened; names, places and timing of events are changed to completely mask any similarity to real persons or places – in other words don’t look for anybody in here to represent anyone you’ve ever known, because it just isn’t so.

Who is Brad Cullen?

As to the name, Brad Cullen, it is a pen name. I wrote commercially for almost fifty years under my “legal” name. Events about fifteen years ago conspired to make me decide to “hide behind” the word “anonymous.”

I dreamed up this fabulous, good-looking, loving and lovable character, Brad Cullen, to be the central character in the first Leapfrog (written anonymously). Along comes a publisher, in Vancouver, B.C. who offered to sponsor and manage a website dedicated to my writings and to publish my books – he wanted me to retain the name of the author as Brad Cullen …and a forthcoming book with another publisher still carries the pseudonym.

Who is ……..(insert name here)?

The spiritual truth is that my “legal” name isn’t “me” either. That’s part of the “truth” I feel called and even “chosen” to share. You aren’t the name your “earthly” parents saddled you with either. Hopefully, in this sequel to the first Leapfrog, you’ll discover your true identity. That’s my purpose for writing and a part of my purpose for living.

If the timing isn’t quite right for you to grab onto this as “truth,” for you, that’s perfectly okay, but either way I do hope you enjoy Leapfrog: The Next Quantum Leap (renamed IN THE BEGINNING)

(9) IN THE BEGINNING

Does anyone really know where Jeanne is?

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO JEANNE STOCKWELL?*

Jeanne Stockwell,* a freelance writer of articles and series for various magazines and who wrote “The Manuscript”which was the factual basis for the Brad Cullen novel, Leapfrog.

“The Manuscript” became the 105 page appendix to Leapfrog and is central to the story – some readers have suggested it should have been a prologue.

The suggestion is interesting since I wrote it first – go figure.

Leapfrog itself (just before “The Manuscript”) ends with these rather cryptic paragraphs written in the first person, of Darlene Adams, as is the entire novel:

Where’s the sequel?

I received the okay to say what was on my mind. “We have been told not to speculate about what this event will be…but Spirit wants each of you to remember that you heard here that the event will happen very soon, in fact, within three days. Many changes will take place, and Leapfrog will become a significant publication for the future.”

“Know this that nothing much will happen until after the dust settles and that will take some time.”

Three days later we understood both the prophecy that Rachel had uttered some three weeks before and these words that ended our first gathering…on September 8, 2001. [END]

The spiritual adventure and transformation of Darlene Adams, her husband Jack and their two teenage daughters Debbie and Rachel are the focal point of the entire novel, ending with the understanding that the world upheaval of 9/11, 2001 and its aftermath, was about to take place.

The world has not been the same since. With the advent of COVID-19, we have the end of another era and a brand new, IN THE BEGINNING, the perfect timing for the sequel to Leapfrog and you get to formulate how it ends …FOR YOU.

I really miss my childhood psychiatrist.

Leapfrog opened with Darlene’s thoughts while driving towards the office of a Psychiatrist who had helped her brother-in-law to overcome a loss of confidence and downward spiral toward being suicidal back to normalcy.

Darlene had been going through a year of depression and her older sister recommending she visit the same psychiatrist that had so quickly helped her husband, had led her to this moment; and thoughts about “why” she was going through all this.

*The names “Jeanne Stockwell” and “Brad Cullen” and their roles “IN THE BEGINNING” are part of the fiction. While her name and the idea, like all of LEAPFROG is based on real events, all names and places have been thoroughly disguised. So don’t even begin to try to connect them to real persons and places.

Whenever the story needed help, the author has had no hesitation whatever to invent some fiction to carry along the narrative, but that fact should NOT dissuade you from the truth of BOTH the original AND the sequel.

You need this book…seriously!

FREE OFFER: An E-version of LEAPFROG will be sent as an attachment to my reply to your request sent to either brad@bcanevis.org or brad@spiritualhealingsource.com It is intended that IN THE BEGINNING will also be published in paperback.

What follows in #10, coming right up, is the answer to the question:

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO JEANNE STOCKWELL?

It can also be a new beginning for you, in fact, I now see the end of the final  chapter is the opening to how you will imagine the new beginning …dive in, you’ll have all sorts of clues as to how to navigate life in a brand new way filled with seeming miracles.

It’s up to you IN THE BEGINNING – Jeanne Stockwell reappears . . .

“In the beginning was the complete expression of I AM that, I AM who created everything and ITSELF became mankind.”

– An ancient text translated from the original language by Brad Cullen as it came to him by revelation.

Go Away Jesus!

BUT – How much Power did I receive?

“He came to his own people, but they didn’t understand, BUT all those who do receive this truth, to them are given the power to become sons of I AM that, I AM.”

     – Ancient passage translated from the original language by Brad Cullen

BUT …the Last Word for Receiving

Power and Wisdom from Beyond

This is going to be a wild ride, if you’re ready for it.

If you will make the word “BUT” your last word, you can reach into the infinite realm of the I AM, the realm where you can access the power, wisdom and authority to speak the same words that Jesus spoke when he said, “Before there was an Abraham, I AM.”

Can’t you just jump into the flow?

What makes this infinitely powerful is that I didn’t receive power as a “gift,” what was revealed to me was that I had tapped into the infinite power of I AM that, I AM and could allow it to FLOW through me at will.

You can begin right NOW, by asking if this is the better path for you, NOW, expect an answer. Do NOT insist upon how the answer comes to you, it will come to you and you will get the answer that is just “right” for you for NOW.

When/if the answer is “yes” simply feel gratitude and begin your journey by, saying “Before there ever was a (insert your name), I AM.”

You will be entering the realm of “It is not for you to know” (with the conscious part of the mind), “BUT to receive power” (from beyond your ability to “know” anything).

Sometimes a restart is needed…

If you get a “no” or anything other than a definitive impulse that this is your path for now, avoid it until and when it becomes a “yes.”

Trust is the key; if you aren’t at the place of trusting, don’t concern yourself with it. But to act apart from trusting, sets the stage for emotional and mental conflict – don’t “just do this” …ASK!

Now then a true story – please do not get hung up on the name used in the story, it was for the person who came to me for help.

It was a business partner who had a proclivity for jumping into bed (or back seats of cars) with women other than his wife. He had all sorts of guilt over it and asked if I could/would help him, he was afraid he was going to ultimately lose his wife over it, a beautiful woman he loved deeply.

I asked silently what to say and knew I was to ask him what he thought caused his problem?

Some ladder’s shouldn’t be climbed.

He said, “I don’t know, I just know that every time it begins, it’s like I’m climbing a ladder up to a long slide, the ride down is exciting, but I just hate living with the guilt afterwards.”

I was given clarity. “The answer is simple,” I told him, “the next time you sense you are starting up the ladder, stop and ask Jesus to go up with you.”

“I can’t do that, Jesus would never approve of adultery.”

“Why do I feel so powerless when I’m around her?”

“Your problem isn’t physical adultery; it is one of spiritual adultery. You keep leaving Jesus out of your life, because you don’t trust him to deal with it.”

It was about two months later when he invited me to go to lunch with him and he said, “I did it, man” – I looked at him quizzically, and he told me he had  about to climb the ladder with a neighbor and my words struck him; “I asked Jesus to go with me and I have to tell you that I fully intended to get into bed with this lady; and we were at the point that I just knew she was ‘ready’ and all of a sudden I told her, ‘you know this just isn’t right for either of us, it will only end in disaster, let’s break it off now.’ It ended beautifully for both of us.

Come with me please…I can’t do this alone.

Can you hold onto trust by yourself?

“It took me a couple of weeks after talking with you to get the courage, but I finally told Jesus ‘okay, I fully intend to have sex with Marianne, I’m asking you to go with me.’ It was unbelievable; I didn’t want to say anything to you until I knew that the onetime wasn’t a fluke. Man, I take him everywhere without worrying about the outcome now, including our business (we were partners in a general insurance agency). Life is fantastic when you just trust.”

The point of the story is TRUST! When you know that whoever you believe is your “God” will take care of every detail of your life, you’ve entered into the realm where anything and everything is possible.
