In The Beginning (17)
SEVEN
Jack came in while the “girls” and I were planning something for Daniel’s 11th birthday, still a couple weeks away on November 9th.
“Where’s our monster boy?” he asked – and we told him that he was off with Colin, Vic and Will who had gone into Jacksonville to get some materials for some fixer-upper project the men were working on. Daniel was maturing nicely partly due to my daughters, Debbie and Rachel, both now in their twenties. He was taking nicely to the home-schooling chores. His exposure to some marvelous male role-models, around the house, including a caring and doting father, had not yet revealed any signs of being the “mighty man of God” at age 16 …the revelation prophesied during my pregnancy. He was still a rambunctious youngster. That coupled with his overgrown size he was aptly, albeit affectionately, tagged “monster” by all of us.
There were absolutely no signs of the Down’s syndrome deficiencies with which Daniel had been born …truly a miracle and a “monster” as, again, we all affectionately referred to him – as he could already easily pass for being 15 or even older. He worked with the men every chance he got and they welcomed him and insisted to both Jack and me that he was a hard worker and already skilled, careful and quite serious in his application of several aspects of carpentry.
“Brad would like all of us to meet early tonight,” Jack said. “He received an e-mail from Jeanne Stockwell that he wants to discuss with us – oh yeah, Dar, Brad asked me to pass on Jeanne’s apologies for not answering your e-mail or calling.”
“That’s no big deal,” I responded – “I was fairly sure she was going to be too busy.”
“Well, something is up; Brad had a very serious look on his face when he asked us that we all meet tonight.”
What the meeting was about was that Jeanne had been offered a book contract with Brad as co-author, incorporating both the original Leapfrog manuscript and a part two of the manuscript …which confirmed what Jack had said during the time downstairs at the building and that Jeanne had confirmed in front of the 400-some people assembled there; then later, upstairs, Will had further confirmed it by saying: “I see a picture of surprise on Brad’s face Monday evening when we tell him the news that he’s going to be spending several days or even weeks with this beautiful lady in Hawaii, no less.”
Monday night, of course, was last night and now, instead of the anticipated few weeks that Brad might be gone, if he and Jeanne agreed on the contract which she was recommending, he might be gone for the better part of a year.
Brad had printed copies of the informal contract proposal Al Edmund, Destiny Magazine’s Chief Editor, had sent Jeanne and now Brad handed a copy to everyone and asked us to please read it. It was only two pages. The implications were stunning.
We all sat there speechless. “This is way beyond my comprehension, and I need help getting clarity and I need this to be a decision yea or nay from Spirit confirmed by all of us here,” Brad said, in an even more serious tone than usual.
“Finally it is starting,” Rachel said, getting our attention and we all turned to look at her expectantly.
Bob took our gaze away from my daughter as he began speaking in a language that not only had he not learned by “natural” means, we had never ever heard Bob say anything that wasn’t in English. The words came steadily for about three minutes and there was a bright flame above his head with purple and gold the predominant colors.
When he’d finished, Emmanuel asked, “Do the rest of you, besides Colin, Elizabeth and I realize that Bob was just speaking in Gaelic?” looking upward without speaking to us directly.
Elizabeth spoke up, “I am supposed to tell you what I just understood him to say,” “I haven’t heard the language since I was a young girl …we called it “speaking the Irish’ back then …but I know exactly what SPIRIT was saying and I thought perhaps Colin or Emmanuel were supposed to interpret, but I’ve been instructed to do so.
“As Rachel just said, ‘finally it is starting,’ everything is now being prepared to move forward and everything for which we have been waiting for so long is about to happen. You are to go to Hawaii, Brad. Jack and Bob will handle the business and you will feel no concern or have any tension about leaving.
“You and Jeanne are going to be led every step and you are now going to be released to publish the full manuscript and Destiny will enthusiastically produce it as evidence of what SPIRIT is doing and also the work which has already been completed in Sid Wilmot, a Jew, who will embrace Jesus, not as a Jew, but as his Elder Brother. Mr. Wilmot will no longer practice Judaism and his Editor, Al Edmund; will no longer practice Christian Science.
“This will not be a repudiation of either religion, but rather a beacon to those who are ready to hear what the I AM has to say to all people who will come out of their religious belief systems to embrace the presence and power of the SOURCE without having to express differences over their individual interpretation of what they are now getting directly from our SPIRIT-PARENT.
“This will usher in a unity among people all around the world not seen since the great scattering described in the 11th chapter of Genesis. People from every nation and of every religious belief and practice will, without fear, see SPIRIT in one another with an entirely new understanding of the word ‘Namaste’ as they will now allow SPIRIT to speak through them the words, ‘I AM.’
“Can you two confirm that is basically what Bob just said,” Elizabeth asked in the direction of Colin and her husband.
Debbie spoke up, “I understood everything Bob said, just the way you put it as he was saying it; I’m amazed because I didn’t know he was speaking in ‘the Irish,’ as you referred to it, Elizabeth – did any of the rest of you hear it in English?”
Everyone shook their head or made a comment to the effect that Debbie had been the only one who had experienced that phenomenon.
“Well, Mr. Cullen,” Ann said, “is that enough clarity for you?”
“I have absolutely no doubt. Are all of us together in this?”
“When are you leaving?” Will quipped to our laughter even if it was somewhat subdued due to our collective amazement …we were all wondering about where this totally unexpected turn of events would be leading us.
“Does anyone have any doubts,” I asked, as Jack put his arm around me, “Finally it starts” I mused, repeating what my daughter had said just before Spirit had spoken through Bob.
“Jack and Bob,” Brad said, “I’d appreciate it if we could go down to the office and just clear away some details and the business, per usual, will be in the hands of SPIRIT …I do want to say,” Brad had that look that came over him whenever he was about to display his dry humor, “that I’m really relieved, Bob, that you finally came to the point of speaking in a language you’ve never learned,” managing to keep a straight face, as he stood up preparing to lead the way of the three men out of the room.
“Yeah, but did it have to be Irish?” Bob replied in mock disgust, which had the effect of making all of us relaxed and laughing, knowing we could trust Spirit to lead us every step of the way.
“Leapfrog part two has been launched,” Debbie said.
“Finally” said her sister again.
