(7) IN THE BEGINNING
One of the toughest eye openers for me was when I became aware that if I was blaming my circumstances on anybody else, including God or some unseen enemy, I was creating the very problems about which I was complaining; including, but not limited to health issues and lack of anything.
It took the revelation that I had been given authority, by WHO/WHAT I refer to as our SPIRIT-PARENT (by whatever other title or name), with which to overcome every obstacle. If, however, I blamed the obstacle for my trouble I was welcoming it and destined to stay stuck in it.
When I became aware that if I won’t take total responsibility, I have to blame someone and that’s when I become a victim.
As the old saying goes, when I point my finger at someone else, there are three fingers pointing back at me. Blaming my situation on others, circumstances, or anything at all including and, perhaps, especially myself – is a huge factor in every lack which I experience.
How am I ever supposed to get out of a tough situation, or find a solution if I do not access the power and authority at my disposal?
By taking responsibility for everything in life, my choices and my outcomes puts me in the driver’s seat; an exhilarating position, which cannot take place UNTIL I AM willing to accept responsibility for every part of every situation I face.
Changing any situation became far simpler than I had thought.
Once I take responsibility (again, without blaming myself or anything or anyone else), I have placed myself in a position to change any situation. If I have that power available to me, I can find the solution.
For my publisher and me this realization was the beginning of what we call YOU WITHOUT LIMITS an unregistered, non-profit based on the truths that have changed our lives.
That all began with our taking personal responsibility for EVERYTHING and asking the question, WHAT NOW? …and being willing to do nothing UNTIL we have been given the answer that is true for each of us, albeit by taking different paths, individually.
Taking action, however, without first being aligned with and being inspired by what I know is both aligned with my purpose and which is for my ultimate better good, is a recipe for disaster, BUT… to be continued in #8
