IS THIS QUOTE TRUE?

Sounds reasonable I guess…

“The BEST way to heal your body is to give your body what it needs to heal itself.”

IF THE QUOTE IS TRUE, then what follows is also true …STOP forcing into and on your body anything that interferes with its own natural healing power.

The challenge with going down this particular path is that we are all different and we all react differently to ingesting various foods and other substances considered “good” or “bad” for us.

What works for YOU and how do you discover that?

What’s good or bad anyway?

If you want to go nuts, do some Google research on casein a derivative protein that occurs naturally in milk and is added to a number of processed foods. You’ll find article after article from health and dietary experts on both sides of the issue of whether casein is beneficial or harmful to the human body.

I qualify both sides as being “expert” by the letters after their names, MD, PhD and the like, and both sides claiming research to prove their particular thesis. Both sides claiming the other side is using “bad” science.

If I keep myself under control and realize that, just like every other human on the planet, I am largely controlled by confirmation bias …that is, I look for information that tends to confirm or “prove” what I already believe.

Frankly that little sojourn through Google’s huge spate of articles about casein provides all sorts of information that shook some of my preconceived ideas and beliefs about many different aspects of how different individuals assimilate various foods differently, to the core.

Look inside for answers; “what now?”

My research which included looking at some of the medical literature found in Harvard Medical Review, Mayo Clinic and others, did confirm one belief I’ve had and written about for many years …the best expert for each of us is the expert that resides within …and beyond.

To which expert are you listening currently? Is there a better one for YOU? Perhaps it would be profitable to park your own “confirmation basis” or at least be willing to admit you have it – all of us in these human skins seem to have reluctance to admit it – I confess: I most certainly find it difficult.

Here’s one of the more recent Brad Cullen articles about  out of literally dozens I’ve posted getting expert opinion …October 21, 2018 . . .
