Do you want Chaos or Control?

Harnessing the power of BOTH  Part 3 of 4

Old Goat please…

“Who’s this old goat?”

…they asked, “We want Brad Cullen!”

This is a perfect illustration, both visual and verbal, of what the BCA association and small group meetings are all about.

Brad Cullen is just a pseudonym that this “old goat” (going on ninety, no less) has been using for almost twenty years – with my profound apologies to all those with the “legal” name of Brad Cullen.

“Do you want chaos or control?” I’d asked a woman after she expressed confusion over something I had said in the small group meeting in which she was participating, by exclaiming, “…but without ________ there’d be chaos!”

My question only deepened her look of confusion, until I explained further what I had meant, “You have to take my comment in the context of the question that was asked, ‘why weren’t Gene’s eyes healed until after he had left the _______?’”

Gene had just gone from being legally blind, recently, evidenced by a white cane with the obligatory red tip, to better than 20/20 as measured later by an oculist’s instruments.

Gene was in his seventies; he and his wife had been missionaries for over 25 years in the Philippines – and they had retired, but had still been active in the same religious organization until they had been referred to me.

She’d been diagnosed with a life threatening heart problem and he was legally blind. Their health had been restored.

A rather humorous aside, Martha, his wife, had asked me why Gene’s eyesight had been completely restored and she still had to wear glasses.

“How do I know,” I quipped, “I’m just the facilitator not the healer.” …and that’s the secret of the power behind the BCA – see the quote below the picture at this link:

https://www.bradcullenassociation.com/donate and please don’t let the word “donate” intimidate you, unless you feel the desire to do so, you won’t anyway, so please don’t worry about it, donating is not the point, the point is in the quote attributed to me while someone was being asked what the primary thing they had gotten from a small group meeting I was facilitating – and the webmaster used it, the quote is true.

This is not a religious gathering…!

Is this religious? That all depends upon who you ask, some anti-religious folks accuse me of being religious, some religious folks accuse me of being anti-religious, it’s all up to you, but honestly, I do prefer harnessing the power of both.
