From Being Stuck
To Getting Unstuck
It is the underlying assumption that we don’t have what we need. It is the idea that we’re missing something. It is the belief that we need that something and until we get it or it takes place, we don’t have enough, WE AREN’T ENOUGH!
This perception that there is something missing or we don’t have what we need to create what we want is the biggest lie we tell ourselves and it causes us to put aside our dreams UNTIL we get whatever it is that we perceive we need, when we already have what we think we need.
We have the idea we need to wait to get started and that very belief keeps us stuck where we are. We are on an endless search for the pot of gold, all the while not realizing that we are standing on the pot of gold.
Tragically, most people will think I’m talking in platitudes and they’re stuck right where they are until they realize there is only one thing holding them back from starting the life of their dreams NOW and it is whatever they believe they need before they can begin.
All of us get stuck from time to time; it’s part of the adventure of being trapped in these human containers. We are stuck the worst when we don’t even realize it because we’re trying to convince others that we’re not stuck.
There’s more than one way to get unstuck, but let’s start with one simple way and it’s all in the mind.
Pointing to the brain as the power source of the mind is like pointing to the moon as the power source of its light.
Current science is suggesting that the brain and heart are also a reflection of what is going on in the entire mind which is comprised of all the approximately thirteen trillion cells and the major organs in the body – each having a mind and a memory of its own. Okay and so what?
From that bit of information it is fairly easy to see how two simple and easy exercises may bring together what science has also been suggesting and that is there are two separate hemispheres of the mind (including, but not limited to, the heart and brain), one on the right and one on the left.
The hemisphere on the right side is suggested to be the unconscious flow which is the conduit of creativity or “positive” pole of our inner battery.
The left hemisphere is suggested to be the conscious connection where analysis, skepticism and other balancing factors keep the human mind grounded in 3rd dimensional “reality” or is the “negative” pole of our inner battery. It takes BOTH the left and the right, the positive AND the negative joined together to operate in power.
Bringing these two opposite sides together takes just a little bit of work, but for those of us who actively, but easily work at it in a relaxed manner, a few times a day, are becoming quite enthusiastic about the results.
Just as storage batteries have a positive AND a negative polarity and it is the synergy, the polar synergy, of BOTH hemispheres connected together that provides the electrical power to run automobiles, trucks and other large equipment.
So it is with the human body and these simple and easy exercises practiced a few times every day for thirty days and/or UNTIL the breakthrough into a firm connection to creative power occurs.
The good news is that you don’t have to believe it – because when it happens, it will most likely be accompanied with a shout, “This is unbelievable,” the negative exclamation of somebody who believes because they can’t deny the results.
In Freedom,
B
