Preparation…
The training for being involved in healing power and spiritual healing is best characterized by getting involved in an entirely different paradigm than we generally associate with either training or education; both of which are based on the processing and absorption of information by our brains.
The preparation for becoming a healer, as we are using the term on this website, has to do with an understanding that it isn’t “you” that does the work …it is the SOURCE Who accomplishes the breakthrough or explosion into the realm of faith and SPIRIT …and we simply cannot be trained for that in any usual sense of that word.
Get words such as discipleship and discipling out of your frame of reference …while both may be technically correct, both imply that some human being is fit to teach anyone about spiritual matters.
The Spirit Will Come to You, Just Ask.
Let this FACT seep into your consciousness. Jesus said we have only ONE Teacher and Leader in the spiritual realm… he referred alternatively to Him as Guide, Advocate, Teacher, Leader, Holy Spirit, Spirit of Truth, Spirit of Prophecy, etc., all of which people tend to focus on one at the exclusion of others. It doesn’t make any difference what you call Him… He created the universe and everything in it. You’ll never understand the foregoing with your brain. It must be revealed by Him. Jesus further said to neither refer to any other human being by any title that implies spiritual authority or superiority, NOR to allow ourselves to be referred to by anyone else by any such title.
An individual who becomes involved in the process of spiritual healing is one who merely understands some basics… one of which is in the foregoing paragraph.
