Ryan says,

Hey you know, I must say that I am one of those who follows “ritual”. I say the same prayer every morning, every night and in between. I follow a pattern, it works for me…not the same as yours. I don’t do the beating on my chest thing very often, I do it differently, I do the beating on my chest thing only when Spirit says to do it.

I am OK with ritual as long as it doesn’t lead to the “lukewarmishness” that you refer to in your writings. Truth be told we are not on the same journey, we may have the same destination but the path is definitely different.

For example: yesterday I had a tough day, not for weak faith but an attack through someone close. Why did I go through that? Every morning I go into my fortress, cleans myself in a pool that is in the center of the fortress. I am instructed to do so by spirit.  I was told to never leave this process for more than 1 day. I didn’t for several days……. Boy what a difference a day makes……

The above reference was directly tied to what you said to me before, It’s my job to keep the enemy out. Dad has given me an easy way to do it, “cleans yourself every day”. I don’t understand how it works and it seems a bit silly to me but when I don’t do it, I end up in a mess. YIKES what a mess!

Ritual, yep I guess so. That’s where I am at and I am OK with it, how about you? Maybe we should stop taking pot shots at the “churches” for their dead rituals and start taking pot shots at the people doing dead rituals, not to be judgmental but to shake things up. Asking does this work for you? If so how? If not why are you still doing it? The same question we have to ask ourselves, every day.

More on operating out of ignorance rather than knowledge …there is no way to explain it. Any more than you can explain how/why Dad has given you the fortress imagery to work with… it is just you and we cannot really discuss it to anyone else’s satisfaction… yet we can use it as a reference point with each other.

This morning I really could not, did not, know where I was going with the latest in the quantum series… I woke up befuddled, half asleep and not at all in touch with my purpose… then BOOM …clarity… as I started banging on the door.

Buddy, I really do understand that it is my choice… and just as you suggested yesterday that we really do need to understand the religious rituals of others… if they work, they work… the question is what to do when the rituals don’t work. Pounding on the door, beating on my chest, figuratively or otherwise… is not only as comfortable as sitting in a pew… it works for me. If sitting on a pew works, hey folks, sit more often.

Brad’s deal works for Brad …Ryan’s deal works for Ryan and we share and sometimes mix our deals as we ask Dad what isn’t working and what should we do. Dad is always the SOURCE for whatever.

I keep learning and having to RE-learn, almost daily… don’t understand it and really don’t need to. Quite comfortable in my ignorance as long as it continues to work… so far so good… THANK YOU DADDY!!!!!!!
