Getting Real
A delusion is brought about by a desire – a man who believes that a woman loves him because he wants her, while she finds him totally undesirable would be said, by that woman, to be suffering a delusion.
If, what happens occasionally, which is the woman changes her mind about him, to the point that she “falls in love” with him, could it be said that the delusion has become a desire that “miraculously” became a reality?
The above romantic scenario all began with an illusion the man had of the woman; in his eyes she was beautiful.
Could the truth of the matter be encapsulated in one simple term, “beauty is in the eyes of the beholder” and perhaps, therefore, beauty (and truth) can and should always be held under suspicion of being nothing more than an illusion?
All the above which involves sensory perception, time, timing and belief is a product of 3rd dimensional claptrap described as “physical reality,” when it is merely a matter of perception and perspective. Further obfuscation of the “facts” comes about by the words used to describe it.
Let’s get REAL!
What you or I believe is based on our individual perceptions and desires; both of which may or may not come into being as “real.”
If it could be safe to say that just because somebody says, “I know it’s true because I saw it with my own eyes” might well be questionable, on the other side of the question, could it also be true that somebody saying, “I know it’s true because I feel it” might really be the truth?
While the first begins as an illusion, it may well become a delusion because the person, who sees, wants to believe and the second was always true, but we don’t trust the word, “feel.”
All the foregoing could be seen as over-complicating and, therefore, you can rest in your own illusions no matter how simple.
Is there a reality beyond what you currently believe? Of course and ALWAYS! How can you discover this “other reality?” Send an email to brad@spiritualhealingsource.com with handbook in the subject line.
