Tell the World What You Believe Part 16

…. “So what do you do if . . . You integrated your mind?”

Yea Brad, who cares???

The following is excerpted from Integration of the Mind © SHS Publishing, Burnaby, B.C.

So, what do you do if you don’t believe in a personal God that gives one good hoot what you do or think, let alone from whom you are just as disinterested in “hearing” or being in tune with or feeling vibrations, frequencies or whatever?

For those of you in that category, I like to tell another true story …yes I’ve told this one many times before as well, but just briefly, sigh, one more time, it’s about a fifteen year old daughter of a British diplomat who was a patient of an M.D., trained in the U.S., but practicing medicine in Kampala, Uganda, in east/central Africa.

Neither the patient nor her mother nor, also the physician, believed in God. …I told her that it didn’t matter; in fact that it was actually better that she didn’t, because she didn’t have to get a bunch of religious beliefs out of her way, that keep so many religious people from receiving.

Whatever it takes!!!

I told her if she didn’t want to make the declaration, to just tell me and we’d do it another way. This unbelieving girl not only said it, she practically yelled, “I want God’s will no matter what it takes!” She sat there with this look of amazement on her face. I asked her how she felt …just moments before she was pale, listless and, for those of you who remember the story, she’d had daily bouts with nausea for several months, and for which her doctor had put her through every western medical, diagnostic test available and had her tested by a clinical psychologist as well …nada. The girl answered that she felt great …I told her to stand up and say it …she did:

“I do, I feel great, and I don’t think I’ve ever felt this good!” The sidebar of this story is the doctor was also healed of a lifelong sleeping disorder and cysts on her ovaries which had been keeping her from having a wanted pregnancy – she and her husband (I’ve never told this part of the story before, but it is true), nine months later told me that they had been tempted to name their newborn son after me!

The point, of course, is that you don’t have to have any intellectual belief in God, by whatever other term or name, for the formula to work – and the formula can be altered to fit your own private sensibilities.

Which brings us to the next step in the Integration of the Mind …developing a loving relationship – a working partnership between the conscious, subconscious, super-conscious and all other parts or sub-parts thereto of the individual, personal mind without any regard to what goes on outside or beyond it (if anything).

That’s the focus of Chapter 29 …see you back here for that.

Chapter 29

Once We “Get” This, We Can Easily Get That

If we can truly understand that it is not what we want, consciously, that accomplishes our deepest desires, but what we believe deeply, subconsciously, that rules us …we may be willing to begin doing something that works; that is, to examine those subconscious beliefs and change them …particularly if we see that they are neither true nor are they serving us any longer; in fact, we may discover that these beliefs, some of which we are totally unaware, are creating obstacles to achieving those things we consciously believe are true and by which we want to live.
