Tell the World What You Believe – Part Seven

Potential and Eternity

This is a popular pleasant point of view, is it true?

Discovering the meaning of the words in the original language translated into the English term “Eternal Life” had a significant impact on the way I looked at everything. Basically the literal meaning is “in this moment,” or “NOW.”

The challenge the foregoing interpretation has caused for countless millions of people, both in religious cultures and anti-religious cultures –two sides of the same coin– is missing the connotation inherent in the original language …that is, the NOW is in a parallel dimension to the “reality” that we see with our physical eyes.

When we are focused on what we see in this 3rd dimension that Einstein (as well as many others in fields of both science and philosophy) referred to as “an illusion, albeit a convincing one,” we fail to recognize what is going on at the level we CANNOT see with our physical eyes, I began to call spiritual.

Did Jesus travel to Egypt?

As I have repeatedly admitted, the foundation for what I believe today had its beginning in a rather intense study of Jay’s words, as quoted in the Gospels of the New Testament.

One quote grabbed me and shook me almost violently, “Pay no attention to anyone who tells you that the kingdom of heaven is here or over there, for the kingdom of heaven is within you.”

The teaching I received at the hands of religious teachers was that heaven was a place we went to after we experienced physical death, and thereby entered eternal life provided, of course, we were “saved” according to the precepts of that religious belief system.

What these words of Jay opened my mind to was the possibility of experiencing eternal life NOW; because it was an ongoing, parallel dimension, that we can experience “internally.”

What I believe, which makes it true for me and not necessarily true for anyone else, is that we are in the middle of a strange dichotomy created by those that teach “heaven is within these physical body-bags we occupy” and “heaven,” again, “is that place we go after these body-bags we occupy have been buried or cremated, if the latter is your preference.”

Find your piece, ask Source.

What if neither of these limited views is true? Or, perhaps better said, only partially true? We needn’t discard either of them, but what if there is a missing piece to the puzzle? What if we are given the ability to enter this parallel dimension right NOW?

I’ve been yelling at people for many years that you can enter this other dimension right NOW, but you have to be willing to give up both the religious and the anti-religious paradigms and become aware that both are true; AND that what I’m saying here is true as well.

Let’s digress with a reply I sent to an e-mail I opened a couple hours ago:

Hey ___!

I just finished reading Charles Slagle’s stuff, you forwarded, which I find an interesting point of view. I want to offer a couple of simple additions to what he said, which may help many folks cross the bridge into a more unlimited variety of LIFE in the PRESENCE AND POWER of our (your and my) SPIRIT-PARENT, by whatever other title or name.

The simple additions are to his definitions of the words salvation and holy. I did a study in the original language of both, some thirty years ago which completely altered the direction of my life and was part of the catalyst which brought me out of organized, unorganized or dis-organized religion of any variety.

The original word translated as “Holy” …simply means unique, the one and only. If we just let that meaning wash over us we can remove half the religious-claptrap-programming we’ve allowed to control our lives.

The original word(s) translated as “Salvation” …simply mean to be joined together again, with the Creative Spirit, as it was in the beginning – re-pairing complete …which is the reason I began to see that we are spirits occupying these body-bags …not human beings with a spirit.

I hope I haven’t bored you with this little Greek lesson – when I first stumbled on it I actually went to a guy known as a Greek scholar within a large Christian denomination. At first he told me that I was making a mountain out of a molehill. He finally admitted that the translation I have just given was fully accurate and LITERAL.

This argument is far from over Brad!

End of argument? Well, it could be if we let it be …if we can choose to acknowledge that there are numerous ways of looking at anything and which are all merely narrow slices of the truth. The potential to being unlimited in my thinking opened up with another quote of Jay:

“Nothing shall be impossible to any individual who believes enough” and what my add-on has been to that for many years: “Enough is the operative word.” We find it impossible to believe enough when we choose to hang on to partial truth rather than choose to ask our SPIRIT-PARENT what HER/HIS/ITS view that we need to see in order to get beyond our old limiting beliefs.

The context in which Jay had said nothing is impossible is a mind-blower and I’m not to get into it here …I AM, however, always willing to entertain and answer e-mail, so write me, if you’d like to know the context.

Unlimited is our potential destiny; why hold on to anything that holds us in bondage to limited information when the Universe is ready and willing to pour out the complete? (At least what we’re able to handle for the present).

That’s it for now, but there IS more to come!
